If you consider buying this but are put off it’s probably because either A. You think “only a dentist can do that” and/or B. You’re worried about the pain or damage.I took a leap of faith based on reviews (doesn’t always work out with Bolo purchases so my hopes were low). I’ve been flossing and getting all the usual gunk out and but nothing has ever touched the build up of stubborn tartar. Until this. Literally put the scraper to my teeth and that tartar came off like magic. So no you don’t need to be a dentist. In fact, I am sure this is the best my teeth have looked in a long time and that includes post dentist visits where I’ve had professional cleans. And I only opened this package a few hours ago. I can imagine this could become addictive. It’s also extremely gross to see the stuff that’s been lurking in there undetected.Next, this makes me think my dentist is a bit of a sadist! How did I get such amazing results without an ounce of pain when in the dentists chair it feels like she’s stabbing me repeatedly with some kind of electric super knife?! There was a little blood when I did this but to be fair in the dentists chair when she’s done cleaning my teeth and gums there’s enough blood for a great white to sniff out.I toyed around with the mirror but didn’t find much use for it and haven’t really fiddled with the tweezers but the scraper for me is worth the entire cost alone. The box and red velvety material inside is a nice bonus. The tools look and feel like quality.Before using this I was embarrassed by the state of my teeth. Too embarrassed to go to the dentists. Tomorrow morning I’ll be booking my next check up and skipping into the room. When they ask me to say ahh I’m going to be singing it in the highest note I can.I wish I had done a before photo but I had no idea it would be such a miraculous tool and by the time I started I was too excited! Here is after though!
