Simple strong tools. I have a few Hautmec items, and none has disappointed.

These pliers work very well for removing old nails from timber. After I'd tried my usual tools on a particular stubborn nail (and pulled the head off), I gave these pliers a try and was (slightly) amazed that it did the job quite easily. This another tool I wish I'd bought years ago.But.... it can grip the nail so tightly (without a lot of hand pressure) that I have found it too powerful for removing stuck staples. It easily cuts through the staple, leaving little sharp bits of metal sticking up. Normal pliers work best for thin wire staples.

Very sturdily made and fits well in the hand. Certainly feels like it will last some time yet but the proof is in the pudding as it were!! Does the job and pleased with this purchase.
