The other reviews helped and the way the positive reviews were written suggested that the issues that some other people had had wouldn’t be an issues for me. The photos posted were really helpful in understanding any possible issues, eg the bottom of the screen curving a bit (apologies that I don’t have one to add here) but I went ahead and bought the screen after I had very short notice that an online recorded event I was due to present at had an amazing gallery backdrop at the other end so it felt like my home location would look very poor in comparison. It was in an arts context with an curator interviewing me so things like wrinkles in a screen and a curve bottom edge would really be noticed so I was a little concerned about whether I would be able to make the screen work in time after it arrived.The first plus was that I ordered late at night on a Thursday and it was with me on Saturday afternoon for a Sunday afternoon recording. Initially I couldn’t believe, from the size of the box, that a good quality 100 inch screen could be assembled from something so compact and light weight,Then as I open the box and the smart black carry case (made from durable material) was even smaller so I was a little worried. But then that concern changed the moment I unzipped the carry case as the consideration to the packaging inside was amazing. It couldn’t have been better and that good design and ‘signing’ then helped with assembling the screen. The fact that the 6 steps of the instructions are also printed on the outside of the bag (in case one loses the paper instructions inside?) was very much appreciated and shows a considerable attention to detail from whoever designed this system.Things like labelling the bags that the two sets of poles came in with A and B really helped with the initial assembly and (as it is being used by a team who might not see the assembly) will help with re packing and making sure everything goes back in the right place. Not something most are going to be concerned about but a big bonus frommy perspective when we have spent ages developing installation rigs that still don’t have such a well designed and intuitive packaging system. Things like the straps inside the bag and the square protectors that go on the footplate posts, when they are packed away, all made for a great first impression.As other people have said (and I which I think is also due to design of the packaging) it was unbelievably quick to assemble (given the size of the finished screen). I did have help available for moving the screen but assembled it mostly myself and had a good looking screen up in under 15 mins from opening the bag. Others had given those kind of times but I was amazed to find that was easily possible. In my context, (a sitting room with a carpet and a rug on top of that) the long narrow footplates were perfect as they were heavy enough to allow flexibility of positioning especially as the frame that the screen is slotted on to becomes nice and rigid once it is all put together. The shape of the feet meant I was able to place the front of them under the rug but in front of my sofa;all of which made the big screen very stable and created a good backdrop to project on to and beautifully luminous imagery for my video presentation. It was so effective that the screen completely filled the background, as I had hoped, meaning that the slightly curved bottomof the screen was not visible and therefore not an issue. Also we were anticipating we might need to smooth the screen somehow but (as others had said) the tensioning of the frame meant that it was sustainable for projection straight away and, when left assembled overnight before the event, no wrinkles showed in the video shot that we were recording. To be absolutely accurate, there are still a couple of wrinkles visible at the very bottom of the screen (where there is less tension?) so if using in an exhibition in the future I will find a way to insert a bar to pull the bottom of the screen taught. I think though that for almost everyone (other than an exhibiton setting) this would not even be noticeable.As you can tell, I am more than pleased with this screen. In addition to how well it worked. I positively enjoyed the thought and careful consideration that went into its design and packaging. I am also planning to buy the next size up (120 inch) and am considering using a series to of them for a planned set of projection installations for an upcoming exhibition.

Amazingly functional for the money paid.Huge screen area and good quality materials (for the price)Easy to assemble - if the room is large enough to house when constructed you'll just about have space to assemble (unless the room's full of furniture!)Coupled with a cheap projector, and darkness, provides a fantastic cinematic experience for very little cost.It would need much weighting - as well the supplied tie-cables - if you were going to use it outdoors, mainly because it is enormous!Very much recommended (indoors) if you are on a budget and/or giving home-cinema a "first go".

Almost returned this item hence only 4 stars: On arrival the bag it comes in the zipper was broke, the screen had 3 brown patch stains only small on the cloth but bit disappointing. Kids really wanted to watch movies outside so in the end we did not return the item, although seller was okay if we wanted to - so that's good.Now as a screen itself the stand is sturdy but you will need to weigh it down if windy, the screen is cloth and easy to put together with the poles - as it is absolutely massive you will need two people to lift either end to get poles up right or at least we need two as bit tricky otherwise.Watching a movie from a projector on it out in the garden is like having your own outdoor cinema and for this reason I highly recommend, just think we got unlucky with the bag and the stains - other than that the image comes up nice a crisp on the cloth screen.

I'm giving this a 5` even though I e not used it. I bought a projector for my partner's birthday and to be honest you really need a screen to get the best quality. The fold away ones look flimsy but this comes well wrapped in it's ok wn case with a sturdy stand. Ill update after I've used it a few times!

It arrives in a small carry case, is easy to assemble and screen is a stretchy fabric which comes out wrinkle free so full marks for the screen. However the plastic poles are way too flimsy and the screen kept twisting, which is no good for freestanding outdoors, which is what I bought it for. I solved the problem by using 22mm copper pipe which did the job nicely. On the downside there is the additional cost, however I now have a great outdoor screen for open air movie nights.It's overpriced and I threw away most of the stuff, but the saving grace is that the screen is really good, shame you can't just buy the screen on its own.

Good screen, comes in a bag for easy storage, easy to assemble and disassemble. The screen does come creased, I ironed the screen and store it rolled over a tube to prevent creases. If you’re using this outside you will need weights to keep the stand from falling over, it’s also possible to shorten the stand if you want the screen to the floor. I did have to make holes in the bottom of the screen and attach weights to keep the screen pinned to the floor and not blowing in the wind

The construction is quite fragile but on the other side the frame is really big. It is easy to set up, we are using it indoor only so we are very happy with it. The screen is made from very light cloth so easy for carrying around.

Je cherchais un écran de projection pour ma nouvelle installation extérieure ... après avoir trouvé un bon petit rétroprojecteur de qualité, j'ai choisi cet écran de projection, car sa taille était grande, une housse de rangement était fourni, et le montage avait l'air assez simple et rapide ...Et je ne me suis pas trompé ... sur tous les points :- le montage prend environ 3 à 5mn sans être ingénieur (par contre, il faut quand meme penser à mettre du poids sur les pieds histoire de ne pas le retrouver à terre)- l'écran est d'excellente qualité et a une diagonale de plus de 3m, idéal pour regarder des matchs en famille dans le jardin.- son encombrement une fois rangé (démontage simple et rapide) est très correct et plutot léger - environ 2,5 kg pour un encombrement très réduit ...Bref, un produit très sympa et efficace idéal pour l'extérieur ou pour amener avec vous en voyage ...Si vous avez trouvé mon commentaire intéressant, n'hésitez pas à cliquer sur UTILE
