I wear light makeup and it does well to get it off, though your skin does feel a little oily afterwards as it’s quite a thick balm but it’s good if you have combination skin like me. My dry areas are my cheeks which this product does good for.I also use it to get rid of eye-makeup.My eyes are quite sensitive so I just massage my eyes with the product rather than rub it in.I solely use this product as a make up remover rather than a cleanser so I always use products afterwards to strip my skin of grime. But it does the job for me as a make-up remover that I am happy with.

I absolutely love this product. I decided to change my cleansing balm and came across this one. I was sceptical at first because oh how cheap it was and after reading the reviews I wasn't sure. But decided to give it a go. I honestly don't get some of the reviews. It hasn't got much scent no, but then it's a natural product so I wouldn't of expected it to anyway. Doesn't bother me at all. And there were comments by it didn't melt. Well mine melts amazing. Juat run in between your hands to melt and then over your face. You definitely need a flannel to wash off. It literally melts away any make up on your skin. Amazing product. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Got this as a replacement for the discontinued body shop cleanser. I don’t wear much makeup (bb cream and mascara) so just want a non-greasy makeup remover.This cleanser feels so oily and I’ve had some acne appear during my time using it, which isn’t normal for me. It takes a long time to use, feels as though mascara is being moved around the eye rather than removed. This is worsened by the fact that you can’t rinse off any cloth/flannel! After two washes there is still residue and stains on my flannels and the provided cloth.I’ll be looking elsewhere for my cleanser replacement

I came on here to leave a review to say I agree with others that this balm is very glue-like and I had given up on it. However after reading others saying they use a damp cloth to wash it off I may keep trying as I was just using cotton pads (so I guess a cloth is better for the environment too)! I bought this as a replacement for the Body Shop Camomile Cleansing butter but I have to say it’s not as pliable as that. I didn’t want a cleanser to wash off but I will keep persevering based on other reviews that their skin felt good after using it and I would like to support a small business. Given it a 3 but just wish it was less dense and easier to apply

I used to use the body shop version of this. It’s natural, no overpowering scents. Last a long time for one tin as only a penny size amount used each time so is also great value. Easy to use in any skincare routine, use a flannel or some kind of pad to remove as it’s slightly oily so need to ensure you remove all the product.

Having tried a known retailers version of this cleansing balm, I decided to give this one a go instead. And I'm glad I did! It's a little thicker, so actually dont need to use a massive amount and I feel it really does the job better. My skin feels really clean and soft after rinsing. Recommend

I was very excited to use this product, but it just didn't work for me.I have a sensitive skin, prone to eyelid eczema, so finding the right balm is important.There was no scent, which is not a bad thing in itself, but I find it off putting.The balm was hard to get into and then the provided muslin was too rough. I did try with my soft make up removal pads, but it just didn't work and left a greasy residue.It's a shame, because it is a local business and the price was good, but I'm afraid I will stick with Elemis and Body Shop balms from now on.
