I recently used Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin for a garden project, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, this paint was a pleasure to work with. It goes on smoothly with great coverage – I barely needed a second coat! The satin finish gives a smart, professional look without being too glossy, and the colour hasn’t faded at all, even after weeks of unpredictable British weather.One of the standout features is its versatility – it sticks to almost any surface without the need for priming, which saved loads of time. It also dries quickly and is touch dry in no time, which is perfect when you’re working around the weather.Highly recommend Zinsser AllCoat if you’re looking for a durable, long-lasting exterior paint that actually lives up to its promises. Excellent paint - covers very well and goes on smoothly. It’s new on a GRP garage door for a year in full sun all day and it’s still looking pristine. Now applied to the front door (timber) too. Zinsser paint is the only wood/metal paint that I use now.

Excellent exterior paint for the garden. Best we have used. We painted it on fencing, doors, walls and metal without any problems. Covers well and dries very quickly.

This is lovely to paint with. It hides any brush marks. Needed 3 coats to cover white doors, but the paint goes a long way.Not suitable for painting bare metal, as it chips off incredibly easily. You'd need to use a primer 1st or varnish afterwards.It will chip if you knock it on wood too. My kitchen cupboards had to be varnished after painting.So if you intend using it, in high traffic areas be aware.However it's easy to touch in, & its not really visible if you need to do this.Because it chips easily I don't think I will be painting my upvc door with it after all. I can't see it sticking to it well enough & it chips too easily. I don't want to be constantly touching it up.I've used this in matt black for my fireplace & melamine type coated mdf storage unit. I used the Anthracite for my kitchen cupboards.The matt black had a thinner consistency than the anthracite weirdly. The anthracite needed a lot of stirring before I could use a roller to apply it.It's expensive paint considering it chips so easily, & I'd be dubious you could use it on all services.Dries in minutes if it's warm. There's no time to go back over an area before it's gone tacky. You can give it another coat within an hour or so though.

I had a mahogany coloured UPVC window in my daughter's bedroom which looked tired and dated. This paint went on beautifully, dried quickly and covered the window frame in just two coats. It was easy to wash out brush with water. I now have a modern looking window at a fraction on the price of a new one. I think it's great value as there's loads left in the tin. I might do all the windows in the house!

Started using Zinsser as our outdoor paint after using a well known brand beginning with H repeatedly let us down. Zinsser is so easy to use and covers really well, dries really fast and evenly and is actually hard to make look bad. Love that it’s easy to wash brushes and trays after using this so we don’t have to bin brushes / rollers etc.Used on our upvc front door , on our wooden exterior window box and on our metal garage door. Results amazing everytime. Long lasting and in places where we’ve damaged it ( getting buggy in and out no fault of the paint ) touch ups are really easy and you can’t tell where it’s been touched up.Weather was 1% chance of showers when I painted and it actually ended up lightly raining 2 hours after putting this on and it didn’t cause any damage.Really recommend this. Easy to work with , doesn’t drip or run unless you use it too thick and dries so fast. Long lasting and great coverage. Worth the price :)

Absolutely brilliant paint.Painted 3 PVC window frames, two down pipes, and also lots of external timber. And still have over half a tin left over to do other jobs.Dries really quick so you can do a second coat after just one hour.Paint is just the right consistency, neither too thin or too thick.Brush can be washed out easily in water as well.Recommend to all.

I used this to paint some old, very tatty looking, cast aluminium garden furniture that hadn't been painted in decades. Easy to use, each coat of 2 dried within a few hours, so the task was completed within a day. Time will tell how long it lasts, but an old garden table and 4 chairs that looked ready for taking to the tip now look lovely. Highly recommend, and is suitable for multiple surfaces.I have plenty left so plan to use it to also refresh our very tired looking garden gates.Tip: wear disposable plastic gloves when using. I didn't, and it took me an age to clean the paint off my now sore hands afterwards, even with using a combo of white spirit and nail varnish remover on them.
