The instructions are clear to follow, and unlike the wood and wire spring traps (which I hate because they always snap shut several times while I’m trying to set them), the mechanism is strong enough to withstand a gentle disruption as you place it on the ground.2) They are effective if used correctly. I saw some reviews saying the mice would just walk around them with no trigger, so I set up a few traps as soon as they were delivered and tried a few different positions/orientations. I’d recommend placing them facing into a corner without an escape route (maybe 3cm gap from the corner) so the mice can’t manoeuvre over (you need to make it a tad tricky for them given the mechanism is slightly more durable), but voila on the first night I caught my first one!3) They make a clean kill. Unlike the sticky traps or poison, it was quite apparent that this mouse did not suffer, given the intensity of the trap when it closed.A quick, easy and effective product!

I used these mouse traps last winter, and they worked perfectly. As morbid as it sounds, they caught the entire family of mice! The traps are sensitive, but not overly so, making them easy to set.To get the best results, here are a couple of things I found helpful:Be Gentle When Setting: When placing the traps on the floor, take your time and be gentle to avoid triggering them prematurely. Once carefully set, they stay in place and work exactly as intended.Positioning Is Key: I placed some traps facing a wall and others in corners. This limited the mice’s escape routes and made the traps much more effective. Initially, a few mice managed to eat the bait and escape, but this adjustment completely solved that issue.Use A Good Bait: I just used plain old peanut butter with a drop of peanut oil, and it worked great. Although I think it might depend on how hungry they are, a bait with high fat content is usually very good at attracting mice.Overall, these traps were extremely effective, and I’m very pleased with the results!

Very effective traps. Within the same evening of placing them with peanut butter bait, it managed to trap not one but two mouse within the same trap! (Small baby ones). They're simple to use and the instructions were very clear. Seems humane too as the mouse were found dead upon contact.

After an infestation of mice, I would recommend this product as I have been able to catch a few. This was a last resort after getting humane mouse traps which did not work from a different company.I have taken a star off as sometimes they did not work and the mouse had eaten the bait without it being set off.I would recommend anyone to try these though and I do feel they are value for money.Fast delivery and easy to use.

Effective, been using it for a few weeks as sometime i know mouse come to my kitchen and today it got in the trap, it was death so easy to clean and throw away, didn’t make any mess. I try other friendly ones but didn’t work so I went for this one

These are brilliant! It caught the “new resident” the first night I put it out. They “dispose” of the mouse immediately, kinder than many other methods. It didn’t suffer and it got at least a sniff of the peanut butter I used as bait.The traps were easy to set up and none of the precarious taking your fingers off that you get with other traps.I highly recommend these.

I had used these initially to catch an unwelcome pest. I really like the fact that the bait trap comes off and is easy to replace/remove, but I found the mouse was able to get to the bait (peanut butter) without triggering the trap. I reset the traps and had to push down on the pressure plate as much as I could without it triggering in order for it to work. So they do work, but you need to just be a bit more careful with it than I would have liked.

Had some laid out where I'd spotted a mouse in the house, placed along the walls and baited with peanut butter, and after 4 days nothing. I was starting to doubt the effectiveness of the trap.I did however catch the mouse on the fifth day, I had wedged a chocolate rice cake into the bait cup to try something different, nice and snug so that it wasn't easy to remove. This did the trick.The trigger seems lenient enough that the rodent was able to lick away at 'spread' bait, but it tried removing the rice cake and that's how this one went off. Rodent died very quickly.Easy to set up, safe to use, takes some trial and error with baits.

En vecka senare satt tre möss döda i dessa fällor medan ingen hade gått i någon av de andra modellerna. På några andra modeller hade betet (osten) försvunnit utan att de slagit igen. Så ej på denna modell. Bokstavligen "Bäst i test" alltså.

Most effective rodent trap

This is probably the best effect rodent trap around - I remove and reinstall the bait holder which is fill with bait from a suet block, then place the trap in the general area of the rodents travel path - Then snap, then remove the deceased rodent, open the trap and replace without the need to replace the bait.Note, if the bait holder is empty and the trap is open, the bait was probably eaten by ants/ insects.

Nos hemos encontrado con el gran problema de tener ratones en casa, y estas trampas van muy bien. En una noche hemos cazado un ratón grande y dos crias (como la de la foto, si son más pequeñas leí una opinión donde decia que podian no activar el sensor).Consejo: NO limpieis la zona donde encontreis las heces/ mordidas hasta después de usar la trampa! Cometimos el gran error de limpiar en cuanto lo vimos la suciedad antes de poner las trampas, y los ratones no volvieron a esa zona. Por "suerte", encontramos la nueva zona donde se movian, pusimos las trampas sin limpiar la zona... Y ya hemos pillado 3 en un dia!Como cebo ponemos crema de cacahuete del Mercadona (3€ vale! me dolió comprarla ya que a nosotros no nos gusta, pero ahora que sé que funciona puedo decir que vale la pena).Y nada, paciencia, vigilad mucho al manipular la trampa, recordad que para poner el debo teneis que desenroscarlo por debajo con la trampa cerrada (si la rellenais por la apertura de la trampa se os puede cerrar y pillar la mano), dejadla mirando hacia la pared (dejando como mínimo 1cm de distancia), poneos guantes para retirar al ratón, y una vez esteis unos dias sin cazar más, desinfectad bien, que estos bichos y sus heces/orina pueden traer enfermedades.Ánimo!
