Here are my reasons:COLOUR - it's a really luxurious, soft, grey-blue velvet. There is something really sumptuous about it compared to a standard navy velvet.FIT - very little wrestling to get it into position and it covers and fits beautifully. It also has these little bonus stretchy elastic straps (attach across the back and front in two places). It really isn't budging (our old cover used to ping off at inconvenient moments e.g. whenever you sat on the sofa). With a bit of smoothing and pushing it literally covered everything smoothly (and my sofa is very squashy, large, and saggy).QUALITY - really lovely, thick fabric. It genuinely looks like a new sofa and I didn't think it would. This was a last resort before giving in and ordering a new sofa - something I think we can comfortably put off for some time yet!EASE - felt like putting our old cover on was a mammoth task involving at least three people and juggling cushions etc. This one just folds over in one pieces - absolutely brilliant. The shaping of the cover is really intuitive too and fit even our very traditional style of sofa.I uhmm-ed and ahah-ed a lot before getting this and I'm really glad I did - hope this helps someone else make their mind up too!

I recently purchased the MAXIJIN Thick Velvet Extra Large Sofa Covers for my oversized 4-seater sofa, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. As someone who has pets and young children, I needed a solution to protect my sofa from daily wear and tear. These sofa covers have proven to be just what I was looking for. The thing I love the most about them is the thick velvet material, which not only feels incredibly soft and luxurious but also provides exceptional coverage and protection for my sofa. The super stretchy fabric ensures a snug fit without any slipping or bunching, giving my sofa a clean and neat appearance. The non-slip feature is fantastic, as I no longer have to constantly readjust the covers after sitting or lounging on the sofa. However, I do wish that the covers came with straps or hooks to secure them even more firmly in place. I bought this cover for my large and very battered 2-seater. I had previously covered it with a bedsheet but it was hard to keep clean and tidy. I have two dogs, one of whom sheds a lot and they also like to chew hide bones which leave greyish marks on the covers. That was the main reason I did not want to invest in a new couch just now so tried the cover instead. I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of this item. It is made of relatively thick, velvety material, very pleasant to the touch and VERY easy to clean. Dog hairs just wipe off it or I can hoover it without the cover being pulled up. Any stains just wipe off with a damp cloth. I have had it a few weeks now and it still looks as good as new. It was easy to fit too. I did use the foam rollers behind the seat cushions and attached the elastic bands underneath but they are probably not strictly necessary as there is plenty of material to tuck in. Overall I am very happy with this cover and would buy it again. The colour is VERY vibrant (mine is Peacock I think), like a turquoisy-teal. I like it but might be to bright for some (in the photo it looks more blue).

It was just large enough to cover the sofa, and the fabric is quite nice, but it's a very odd shape and stupid design, none of it in the description. To keep the cover in place you are meant to 1) lift the sofa (!) and hook some straps underneath front to back into flimsy loops and 2) tuck some polystyrene sticks (like miniature pool noodles) that come with it around the arms and back. They pop out every time you stand up. It's like they couldn't be bothered making the whole thing properly e.g. sewing some elastic in, and decided to cheat, stupidly. It's worked with some adaptations, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I have 2 super comfy but very tired looking one seaters and I was loathed to throwing them away just because the fabric was worn and stained from years of use. I bought one of these covers to try out as my chairs are BIG and I was worried the cover wouldn’t stretch. I was wrong. The covers fit amazing! I have barely had to tuck any fabric in, my chairs are snug as a bug in their new covers. I went for the black blue and it’s a gorgeous dark teal. The fabric is super soft velvety texture but not heavy and it’s the sort of fabric that you know when you wash it, it will dry quickly. I’ve bought a second cover for my other chair and some new cushions- my living room is transformed for under £60! Perfect.

It's actually not bad. It's not thick though so if you were expecting thick velvet you'll be disappointed. The material is kind of like a thin stretchy velour tracksuit 😅 but tbh it helps to adjust it. It needs a bit of patience, I was about to give up and send it back but a bit more effort got it to line up better, not perfect, but better. If it gives our couch a few more months before we have to give up and replace it then great, here's hoping!

Ha superato le mie aspettative!!!Ho un divano particolare, in quanto ha dei braccioli molto ampi e bombati,stessa cosa per la spalliera..e quindi ho sempre avuto difficoltà ad adattarci un copridivano. A parte a salvarmi il divano da macchie ecc,lo rende davvero elegante. Il tessuto è ottimo,un velluto morbidissimo,molto coprente e bello spesso,veste e copre benissimo tutto il divano .Le misure sono perfette, ho preso un 3 posti e il mio divano è lungo 2,30 mt e alto 90 cm.Ne ho già ordinato un altro uguale, per il 2 posti che va nello stesso ambiente.PS.
