Solid and sturdy, idk about the folding down- as I opened it and have kept it that way. It is embarrassingly noisy even on a reasonably smooth-ish pavement, I’ve tried tightening bolts up to double-check but it’s still rattling.Wheels are big enough to not slide around so much, but the rear disc sticks against the brake at times.

This product is dangerous. The brake mechanism is sticking out right behind the platform so my son has quite badly damaged his right ankle on it when scooting normally. Bad bruising and scrapes and now he will not use it. Waste of money.

Really happy with this scooter.Great size to upgrade for our son. Suspension works well, additional hand operation for rear break also works well.Foot plate is a great size for our very tall 8 year old (12 years size) and also for parents to test out!Very smooth and gets great speed!
