I bought this little gem to replace my 10 year old microwave which was concerning me, as the push button door opener kept jamming and some paint had chipped off the inside of the door frame and I was concerned as to whether "waves" were somehow leaking out.I wanted a replacement that had an actual door handle and also a simple "dial" mechanism.My other microwave was very basic, but had all sorts of setting, few of which I'd ever used, as I only tend to use the appliance for heating up food I've already prepared and have in the fridge, have stored in the freezer for later consumption or for frozen veg, on occasion. So, I only need to set a timer for 2 minutes, etc and have no plans for cooking with it, well maybe the odd baked potato! 😉For that reason alone, this fits the bill perfectly and is simple and no fuss to use. And, I much prefer having an actual handle to open the door.Plus, it looks great and was very economical, price wise.I only onegripe, which is that I thought it would be slightly bigger/wider. It's advertised as being "440 mm" in width. It's actually 430 mm. But, that's no real issue. Everything "fits!"That said, I'm chuffed to bits with the appliance itself and am looking forward to many minutes and years of decent use out of it.At the moment, I can't recommend it highly enough, if you're looking for a basic, no frills microwave that gets the job done!A quick update.The microwave ceased to function around 9 months into its guarantee.I contacted Wright Buy, the company that supplied it, who responded really quickly (over a Bank Holiday Weekend, very impressive) and dealt with the issue in a very efficient and professional manner, sending out a replacement, very quickly, with which I had an issue and contacted them again and, once again, they dealt with the issue very efficiently and quickly.I now have a fully functioning replacement and am very impressed with my dealings with the company, whom I can fully recommend.

Your average microwave with no additional fuss. Does what it's supposed to do and seems to be much stronger than others in terms of heating. This may be due to the microwave emitter being new? But this microwave certainly heats up anything much quicker and warmer than any other microwave oven I've ever used before. The only downside I could think of is that it's not digital, so trying to heat something up for smaller increments like 10 seconds will be a bit more problematic, as the knob only shows lines marking out minutes. Apart from that, I think this is good value for money.

This was a gift bought for my daughter, she was very pleased with it, just the right size for her worktop. Liked the colour black and found it easy to work it it to complicated. Good value for money compared to some other makes

To be honest I did order a white one but seem to have gained a black machine. Not really an issue as there are far bigger issues in the World.It arrived extremely quickly ,which was a relief. Well wrapped and delivered by a very helpful gent. A tad heavy for those of a certain age with a back weakness but probably not for the gym goers.The black is very smart and fits into a little corner. Really pleased not to be messing around with digital timers. They are a bit of a nuisance if the electricity goes off. My usage mostly revolves around reheating and cooking vegetables so precise timing to the second isn't necessary. To date I have only used it to test that it works. The turntable is a little hesitant to revolve consistently but that maybe it just needs running in. Heated up a cup of water very speedily.I like the handle as opposed to a pop out switch. It is more definite. Previous machines with switches have stuck in the past or even popped out completely.Obviously this is a very basic model which suits my needs. I am content with it's abilities this far. Noise is acceptable. Not yet needed to clean but I don't envisage any problems there. Recommended for general usage. Seems a reasonable and comparative price.Just an addition to the above, as mentioned by previous reviewers the timer switch has an arrow which is black on black and difficult to see. I shall put a marker on mine.Amendment to original review. Following a few months usage the turn table completely stopped. This is very disappointing. I would think twice about ordering after this event.
