And so it would prove. Every time I have left the bike for a couple of weeks out in the cold weather and it has refused to start under its own steam... I plug this in (using the highly recommended - if a bit expensive - Noco GBC007 cable if you also use a Noco Genius charger... but a Noco GBC002 will do if you don't) and as sure as eggs are eggs, it will start... even on those horrible 'wide open throttle' long cranking starts, this thing does the job easily. There appears to be way more than enough cranking amps available as the starter spins fast and long and the engine really doesn't have a choice but to fire.As I said, it may well be overkill for this and it's likely that the bike isn't really testing this at all... but in this application, this guarantees a started motorcycle. From fully charged, I've used it maybe a dozen times and it's still showing a green charged indicator so it's definitely not really being challenged. On a 3 litre diesel, probably a different story.Hard not to recommend it though. Easy to use. Compact. Looks the part. Starts the engine. Job done.

Great booster and works well.Tip: I connected the booster to my car battery and it would still not start. I eventually had to charge my battery and only discover afterwards, after watching a YouTube video; that if your battery is too flat, the booster will not tegister your battery on the first setting.Press the RED exclamation button and it overrides the 'protection' features and supplies a boost past the battery and directly to the starter which then starts your car.

Started my truck with no problem after the battery died overnight. Compact and easy to use. Holds a charge well and feels solid. A great backup to keep in the car.

I was going to by the 90 model but I like overkill so I went for the XL. I'm actually quite glad I did.I read the instructions and plugged it into my USB charger. It took 4.5 hours to charge which is I think what the instructions said it would be.I have always been a bit sceptical of these little car starters because they look so small compared to the big lead acid powered ones of old. But it does do the job and it does it pretty well. I was convinced when a friend told me that his "90" model started his 5 Litre AMG Merc but all the same I wanted the extra comfort zone for my high compression 4.2 Litre Audi RS5 so I bought this bigger XL model. This model is supposed to be able to start an 8 Litre car. Three times.It does the job perfectly, however I would question its ability to do it three times in a row without charging. I think that's pushing the boundaries of belief. For example, on my 20 HP Briggs garden tractor engine, the thing was flat after three 10 second cranking sessions. But crank it it did and had the petrol been actually going into the engine <grin> it would have started. And I've no doubt that as soon as I clean out the crud from its 20 year old carburettor, it will...I also bought the optional carry case which is a nice design and this whole thing will fit nicely in my glove box until it is needed.I only have one slight complaint: The crocodile clips to connect the battery ought to be on a longer leash. On a big engine you have a big battery and opening these out to the full extent of their Y makes it a very tight stretch on my battery.

Hi, I have received the item in good time and good condition, however there is no plug for me to charge the buster, I have a cable which doesn't fit anything that I have, how am i supposed to charge this item.

This is a great tool to have handy , my car battery went flat...i tried to jumpstart it off a fully charged 95ah lead battery i had in the garage...and it really struggled! i even tried a second battery. unsure why but i just thought il get one of these as i have an automatic its always worried me.I intentionally drained my car battery totally flat till the point the door couldnt unlock and then clipped this on...and it started no issue.It took 5 or 6 cranks but it got there in the end on the first go. and all this and the battery level didn't move off 4 bar aswell so it probably has another 4 or 5 cranks in it at least.Used on a audi a5 2.0 b9 2017 car

EXCELLENT Unit-High Quality & Does The Job Right Every Time

The title really says it all-this device is, to me, essential for your automotive toolbox. It is compact, lightweight, and does the job without ANY problem. The device & accessories are very high quality with a substantial feel when you hold them in your hand. No cheap look or feel to any of it-neither the unit nor the cables/accessories. The clamps that hook up to the vehicle battery are extremely strong & solid. The charging cable is a 2-headed USB-C cable (both ends are USB-C). They make a wall adapter head that goes with it but you will need an adapter to convert the USB-C to USB-A (I did that & it works perfectly...you an find those adapter pieces right here on Bolo).NOCO even included a nice microfiber pouch for the unit to sit in so you don't have to keep it in the manufacturing box/packaging.Side note - NOCO does make a very nice $25 carry case for the unit-it is like a little suitcase-it holds the clamps in one side in a little pocket, and the other side is custom-cut to fit the device itself. I bought the carry case & I highly recommend it. You can keep the device in the microfiber pouch & sit in the case-it fits great; keeps it protected while storing it in my vehicle.So, as far as the unit's functionality & ability to do what it advertises - I bought it solely to jump dead batteries I don't care about the flashlight nor will I be using it to charge any other devices (although I will say the LED light on the end is pretty good & handy in a pinch if you don't have an actual flashlight on hand)...Jumping dead battery: I have a Dodge Charger RT+ ...it is a 5.7L V8 Hemi - I hadn't started it or driven it for a LONNNNNNNG time (drove only 50-100 miles a month but several months in a row it would sit in the garage un-used and this went on all year long) so even though the battery is in mint condition, nothing wrong with it-it understandably eventually died. [It's important to note that the battery died for only this reason-if you have an issue with a sub-par or malfunctioning battery, this unit may very well not be able to do anything for you, obviously.]I fully charged the GB50, hooked it up to my battery terminals, turned the unit on-as soon as the GB50 came on, the colored lights started flashing left to right, red to green, and the little white light below it was lit steadily, meaning that it was reading my battery & I can try starting it---as soon as I went in & tried it, my vehicle started IMMEDIATELY without any problems or hesitation of any kind. Once started, you simply go turn off the GB50, disconnect the clamps, and you are all set!That 1 use right there has, in my opinion, paid me back the $150 I spent on it & then some. DEFINITELY worth the money. The ease, the portability, and the quality are all above & beyond my expectations.I have only 2 tiny "complaints" - The cable with the battery clamps is extremely short-it can come unplugged from the GB50 unit if you don't have the unit aligned straight with the cables...so just be mindful of that. I had the unit sitting at a slight angle to the battery clamps and so the cable unplugged partially from the unit. But, again, this is a tiny issue and certainly wouldn't stop me from recommending it. I am sure you can get longer ones as well. NOCO has a bunch of accessories but I wish they would have made them 3-4 inches longer.The only other "issue" is that the charging cable for this model is the 2-headed USB-C (both ends are USB C) that i mentioned above, yet the NOCO wall adapter head that they recommend for it is a USB-A female connector. So just keep that in mind when you buy this. I have nowhere to plug in a USB-C head for charging so I needed the wall adapter. As I said earlier, it charges perfectly using the USB-C to USB-A adapter pieces.Lastly, I will mention that the unit itself was almost fully charged when I received it, so it did not take long to complete a full charge. It claims you can do 20+ jumps without having to re-charge the unit but I have NOT tested that claim-I have only used it 2 times and they were on separate dates & the unit was also fully charged prior to using it each time. However, based on how it performed for me, I see no reason why that claim would not hold up.Bottom line, this is a GREAT unit and I highly recommend it to all who are interested.

I have one of these and bought this for my son. They are great. The hold their charge really well and have saved me multiple times from being stranded. They are so easy to use and I use it on a van with a large battery. I originally bought a cheap one and it didn't even work once. Worth paying the extra and getting this brand. Highly recommend!!!
