He was really happy with it and said it was a really good aftershave balm with lovely fragrance and soothing oils. I was really happy with the item and it made a really nice present . great all round! I would buy this again, the price was reasonable and the item was good quality.

I love this product, and will be ordering more for xmas for my family and friends.I have used a different one each day and smell even better once on. They come in great little pots with a wooden stick to get it out the bottle. It does the job.Where there is room for improvement is a sticker on the inside of the lid with the balm details. I would have dropped one star as I feel this should be on the tin inside the lid and not just the paper sheath so when you are learning /looking at what you want to use you can see it better. (Like a box of chocolates). I will just cut the paper sheath and put it in the lid. (I didn't drop the star as it doesn't effect the actual balm only my pickyness)The bottles do rattle around however I think if you add something like foam or sections for each bottle it could increase the costs potentially which isn't necessarily needed you can roll them round and remove the easily enough. Put some kitchen roll in if you dont want them to roll around.I noticed on on of the other reviews with a picture there was a tin with the brand printed on, my tin didn't have this on it but this did not effect the product and again this would increase the costs and isnt a nessesity 🙂.

This was a well received gift for someone with sensitive skin. The fragrances are subtle and don't over power. Apparantly the mint one stings a bit, so not used again, but the others are great and he likes that he can select a different fragrance regularly. Ben More seems to be the favourite.Overall a lovely gift that comes nicely presented.

I’ve tried so many different aftershave balms, oils and lotions over the years, from the small independent companies to the well known brands and can honestly say that Bart’s Balms are up there with the best! Doesn’t burn my skin after shaving which many others do (I have sensitive skin) but also really soothes & comforts my skin. The smells are amazing, I ordered the gift box which contained every scent and they are all lovely, very different from the normal scents too, which is a major factor as to why I love the Bart’s products. This all aside, they actually work wonders and protect, I no longer get any razor burn or ingrown hairs etc. Also a little goes a long way so I really cannot find anything negative to say and I’ll be making another purchase soon, although my Mrs has already put this on her Christmas list for me (I found this by accident lol) - Great product! Try it, I fully recommend!

First I was just intrigued by the choice of Scottish peak names and the fact that all these balms are actually handmade here in Scotland. After testing them I just wish I had seen them earlier :) The lotions are very smooth and quickly fully absorbed by the skin, together with the great scents leaving this awesome feeling of you're on the top of the world :) But don't take my word for it, get your own 7 samples to experience these great balms and pick your favourite, you won't regret it.

In lockdown times it's hard to find things to stimulate you, and I might therefore be a bit overjoyed at the stimuli these little flasks gave me, but nonetheless:The packaging is akin to a pen holder box I may or may not have used as a 12 year old at some point, the flasks inside rattle and make clanky noises, but that's for shipping purposes, what matters is what's inside. The only thing that matters - the sampler of 7 different smells.Each and every one of these flasks smell amazing, bar perhaps the peppermint. Not that it's bad, it's just not to my liking. The peppermint one smells pretty much exactly like Taylor of Old Bond Street's Peppermint shaving cream which I personally used once and threw out. In case you're unfamiliar with that shaving cream; It smells like someone dumped a full pack of Sportlife peppermint chewing gum in their mouth, and bit the 10-ish gums about five times before giving you mouth-to-nose resuscitation.It's strong smelling.That being said, the others are absolutely amazing. During these boring Covid-19 lockdown times I have smelled & re-smelled each one, rated them in MS Excel over and over, went for a walk in between to clear out my nose and did it all over again. My personal favourites, if anyone cares, would be:1) Rosemary and sandalwood2) Cinnamon and patchouli3) Amber and Moroccan jasmine4) Bergamot and vanilla5) Grapefruit and pink pepperI've ordered my top 3 in full flask forms after sniffing all 6 of them, having assessed them over and over again in Excel out of sheer Corona boredom, and having used my favourites (the 7th is the peppermint, one whiff was enough - it's not for me.)I'm confident in saying that if Bart's didn't make full flask forms, I'd re-order these sampler flasks again and again all the same, just to make sure I had this variety of great scents available for my post-shave!Delivery was slower than I had wished for but you would have to be an absolute prick to deduct a star from the seller/creator when the world is semi-quarantined.Excellent!

This is a Christmas present , so has not been used ..so can’t review fragrance ,therefore I’ve given 3 stars I love the idea of it and the bottles look really cool in the little tin . I’m sure my husband will really enjoy it .Thanks

I searched for it for sale in the U.S. to no avail. Even though the shipping costs from the UK to the U.S. are high, I decided to make a purchase to see for myself. The first time I tried it was a treat. It was unbelieveably soothing with a fantastic masculine scent that my wife said she really liked.Now, I find that a selection of Bart's Balms are now available for sale on Bolo. I immediately bought the set, but waited until I tried each one before posting this review.I was as impressed as I anticipated. Each one was very soothing, calming the burn from using a Double Edge razor with fiercely sharp 'Feather' razor blades. They provide a very close shave, but sometimes if I'm not paying attention can give me a slight razor burn. After an application of Bart's Balm, the burn stops immediately and the skin feels cool and hydrated.I cannot wait until this small batch manufacturer sells the larger sizes of all their balms on Bolo.If you want to experience a fantastic aftershave balm, pick up this set. Your skin will thank you.
