Great bit of kit. Makes life so much easier when cutting and the fact you can use with all tools as long as you have the adapter for each tool is great. Even handy if your just scribing good accurate straight lines.

As a big fan of Makita tools it was a no brainier to choose this guide rail for those jobs that don’t need the longer guide rails for cutting boards, just like the longer rails it enables the user to effortlessly cut boards straight and with absolute accuracy up to the line cuts, I use a bigger saw with the adapter plate as it’s limited to cut really thick timber with the plunge saw so this is ideal for me, a great asset to my ever expanding tool collection and at a great price too, what’s not to love about it 👍🙏

I bought this to enable me to cut a completely straight line through plywood which is exactly what it does. My Makita saw and rail adapter fit together perfectly with no play and the rail has non slip feet which means you dont actually have to clamp it down, but you can. It works really well.

…which might sound stupidly obvious, but actually DeWalt saws fit most single-sided guide rails as well as their specific double-sided rail.This was a fairly cost-effective shorter rail for using with an MFT and benchdogs, but I’ve had to send it back and splashed out on the Festool one at nearly twice the price. The incompatibility is due to the lip on the side of the T-track part of the guide rail, that makes the channel too narrow for the DeWalt base.

Good track for the money , came on time
Excellent tracks
Used with a 120V Makita plunge/track saw.I combine several of these (I have 4 different lengths) with the Makita splice strips to get a variety of lengths. I have used up to 16 foot runs (for long perimeter board cuts on a composite deck picture frame style install) and obtained laser-straight cuts that look very good. It goes without saying that shorter lengths even easier as there is no splice.One thing to note is that these come with soft sponge rubber strips on the bottom that are what hold them in place ... they work amazingly well not needing any other adhesion (at least on Timbertech boards). On the long runs I still added a bit of Gorilla tape just to be sure I didn't get a shift, but that was probably overkill.I bought the Makita bags to carry these, and protect them, and they work well. However, the ends are quite sharp and subject to impact denting - so I also 3D printed some end caps that I put on as well just for good measure (a variety of different ones are available on the various STL free sites). These end caps can also be purchased pre-made online if you search a bit. Combining these with the Makita (fit Festool as well apparently) plunge saw largely eliminates the need for my circular/table saw, and in my opinion is definitely a lot safer.
Tolle Schiene, Kombatibel auch mit Bosch
Die Schiene ist wirklich mega. Ich benutze sie für eine Bosch Tauchsäge. Ich habe zwar bereits eine Bosch Schiene, jedoch fehlt mir für die Boschschienen ein winkelanschlag. Man bekommt ihn beim besten Willen nicht.Daher habe ich mich für die Makita Schiene erstmal als 1m variante entschieden. Mein Bolo 30€ Winkel funktioniert zu 100% und die Schiene ist mit der Bisch Säge Kombatibel. Ideal.Des WEiteren sind die Antirutsch matten unter der Schiene top, Verarbeitung top. Also klare Kaufempfehlung.
