As my grandson is starting his A Levels in September, I wanted a good supply of pens ! These are ideal as they are retractable, which he likes instead of the cap variety. They give a good writing style. Happy with them.

So, this is a bulk box, and I've not tested them all, so it's entirely likely that there will be a few duff ones in the batch. That said, the ones I've tested have been fine. They're not the best build quality, being plastic, but they are opaque enough to see how much ink is left. Once you flick off the little piece of wax that's covering the tip, and you put pen to paper, the ink starts flowing, and it's a really smooth pen to write with. It lacks the niceties of ergonomic grips, but you can click it in and out, and it's got a clip to put it in your pocket, without it going all over the place.The claims they make about it being smooth and smear free are factual, the black ink seems to dry quite quickly.How long each pen will last remains to be seen, but all the pens have a good reservoir of ink, so they should compare well to more expensive brands.The only downside is the plastic construction, I can see this being quite brittle if put under too much pressure, although I don't think you're going to do that with your hand.

The media could not be loaded. 60 pens in the box, take the tips off them first, then they work straight away out of the box, they feel smooth on paper, size of pens have a good grip, kids might have some issues with that thickness, but as an adult I found them perfect to hold, they just glide over the paper rather well. They are all black.I don't know if they last for 10+ years without use, and still are usable, as I know some inks can dry up, and in this case I normally wiggle them in some warm/hot water for a short period of time which gets the ink flowing again most of the time. Luckily I''ve yet to need this method for these pens, but to be fair, they are just brand new.

Great for cheap pens
Work great and they’re cheap! No complaints at all. I just loose pens all the time, so I needed a cheap alternate. These fit the bill perfectly and I will order them again.
