I was pretty skeptical of this one at first. After all, I'm only really used to the 'gel-like' lubricant most of us are, and this 'butter' seemed like a weird-looking, odd-textured substitute.Right off the bat, this isn't *really* any kind of innovative, pioneering product. It's pretty much just patroleum jelly. It feels like a harder Vaseline and to be honest, that's all it really is. But yes, it works. It rubs into the skin easily and quickly, and immediately the targeted area feels looser and easier to stretch.Yes, this applies to any area. Which is good as the product markets itself for *anywhere* on the body. Plus it's supposedly safe for toys which is a huge bonus.It's a high pricetag, too, for what it is, but you get a lot of it, and the tub is thick and durable. The 'No Resistance' militaristic tag on the top feels like it tries a bit too hard, but honestly I feel like this product is more for film sets and experienced couples than your average experimentalist.It works. And there's a lot of it. I don't know what else to say. I feel like the item should really be marketed as more of an 'all-purpose lube' but yes, it works as fisting butter.

I've used Buttr fisting gel and found it a decent lube in terms of consistency, longevity and effectiveness. This Buttr fisting butter is made from cheaper ingredients than the Buttr fisting gel is, yet the two products cost the same. That doesn't make sense. This fisting butter doesn't enable as slick a movement as the fisting gel does, so this is the inferior of the two products in that respect too. Containing only two ingredients - petrolatum (which is considered safe for skin contact) and octyldodecanol (an alcohol which is also a long-chain fatty acid, and considered safe for skin contact) - Buttr fisting butter is relatively non-toxic. I say "relatively" because all alcohols are toxic, hence why drunken people are classified as "intoxicated". So as I said, this is a relatively non-toxic product, but not entirely innocuous. Don't eat it or get any in your mouth. It won't taste good and it won't do your body any favours.All things considered, Buttr's fisting gel is a much better product than this fisting butter...and they cost the same amount. Some other manufacturers (EasyGlide, for one) produce more effective and cheaper lubes. I can't imagine why anyone would spend more on an inferior product such as Buttr's fisting butter.
