Delivered by a very polite Evri driver. Well packaged. The base is made up of two halves that just click together then 4 screws secure it. I’m 82 and found it no trouble at all. Indent top back gives an easy handhold and the light weight unit picks up easily. Of course you can hear it even on lowest setting but it isn’t in the least distracting. If the forecast extreme heatwave arrives I would quite happily set it on low close to my bed & enjoy the lovely cool breeze it sends out. It is manual button operated and simplicity - buttons are a bit clunky but easy to use.

I ordered this product to arrive just before the first mini heatwave which it did. The assembly was almost done by me but the base had just one awkward part that wouldn't allow me to connect it as a whole instead of two halves. I had to ask my friend embarrassedly to pop over and help me. That's because I was scared that I might break something. Also because I have overly flexible joints so I couldn't get any leverage to push the final part together. After that it was a joy and perfect for my one bedroom flat. I had to leave it on overnight twice on separate occasions and this is when it went wrong. I only had it on the lowest setting because I can't normally sleep with my old fan on as it's too noisy but this one I could. However, I woke up because it was already getting light and it was also a very stuffy morning to a strange clunking sound from the fan. After that it just died! I'd had it three weeks. The same friend had to come over to help me take the base apart but before that he suggested that we test the fuse. So we got another 13Amp and exchanged them. It made no difference. I've just had this one picked up today by a courier and am expecting an exchange. If this replacement does the same thing, I told the company I will expect a refund. There is no remote and there is a timer but I didn't need those. I just had it on the lowest setting and it was a perfect cool breeze for me.

Fan is good but makes a constant ticking noise when turned on

The media could not be loaded. I was initially pleased when I unboxed this fan. It’s simple and a good size and seemed good value. I like the addition of an aroma tray too. Unfortunately even before I plugged it in, the timer switch started making a rapid, incessant clicking noise. This happens even if the timer isn’t switched on. The fan itself seems relatively silent and effective but the clicking timer dial means it’s going back. This fan was intended for the bedroom and there’s no way I could sleep with that irritating sound.

Honestly such a lifesaver! The rotating mechanism works really well and it gives out really nice cool air, it's not very loud either so it's comfortable to fall asleep while having it on. A bit iffy to mount at first since some of the parts didn't align perfectly but once you have that figured out there were no other issues. The timer function works really well too, so overall it was a really good purchase! Only had it for about a week so I'm not sure about durability but it looks like it'll last a good while! Also has a little compartment for essential oils which is a nice little gimmick. Overall really satisfied with this fan!
