I recently discovered this Amlactin cream having used a number of rich body lotions. It moisturises deeply and actually removes minor creases in skin. The cream stings a little and has a slightly sour odour, but can be alternated with other more pleasant smelling body creams. The lactic acid helps remove the top layer of dead skin cells and I can really see the difference in using just within one week. I don't have any skin issues as such but expect that this cream can help address really dry and flaky skin as well as rejuvenate older skin. Just use sensibly and not on the face

I have used the whole bottle now. It really does exfoliate and smooth skin. I feel like it has improved the look of some of my pigmented skin in my arms, but didn’t work on my legs because maybe they are whiter already.It doesn’t really smell of anything. Maybe slightly chemically, but not bad.The reason I have docked a star is because the bottle is quite small for the price paid. Also when you get to around a third of the bottle left the pump stops working so have to open it up to get the rest of the product out. I will probably repurchase again as worked well to smooth and improve the dots on my arms and legs.I felt moisturised, there was no adverse reaction to the product.

Been using this since June on my legs in an attempt to get rid of dark, velvety skin patches as a result of water retention & eczema. Within two weeks , using twice daily my legs were smoother and the dark velvety patches became smoother and brighter. Now the patches have completely disappeared. Started to use on my bikini area and it's smoother. On my second bottle and I will continue to use this forever

I have ichthyosis vulgaris or scaly skin which is extremely dry and gets even worse during winters. Even though my skin type needs constant exfoliation, most exfoliating products dry it out even more. I’d been reading about how lactic acid moisturisers are good for my kind of skin but was too tired to use yet another product. Finally pushed myself to use this one and been thanking myself for it. It’s easily applied and absorbed into my skin. And my skin feels and looks significantly better every time I use it. I use it mainly on my arms, legs and face. So far only using it once a week since I don’t want to overdo it. I’m hoping with constant use my skin retains the positive effects and continued to look supple and nourished as it does the morning after I’ve applied this.

The cream itself is effective and witnessed a changed to my Keratosis pilaris. However, the smell is unbearable like spoiled milk! Can’t use it if I’m going out or after a shower. Had to skip using it somedays due to the smell alone

This produce arrived on time and in tact.It contains a lot and spreads well but is not thin. It does wonders for dry skin so I apply to areas suffering like knees, elbows, legs and feet.I apply right after showers after a towel-dry.The smell is not bad or strong but I only moisturize while indoors so it absorbs properly.It leaves the skin feeling well hydrated and healthy for days.

The Best Moisturizer for Legs

I do not know what I did before discovering this moisturizer. I have dry, sensitive skin and my legs used to be super dry and scaly. So upsetting! I tried so many body creams, body products etc until I saw someone mention this on social media somewhere. I've been using it for several years now and will never stop. It has saved my dry legs and it is all I need, including during cold, dry NYC winters. It is the only body moisturizer that has worked for me. For context, I am now 50 years old. The only negative is that it smells terrible! Like a chemical-y medicine. But that is a small, tiny price to pay for smooth, moisturized legs. The smell usually goes away within an hour and you can layer on other perfumed oils or moisturizers to further mask. I use this in the mornings after a shower and it keeps legs moisturized all day.

The lotion is very thick and it smells weird as it doesn't have added fragrance. This is how it smells! it's not gone bad or anything. It has a very chemical smell. Has a bit of an oily feel to it but it gets absorbed into the skin in 30min. It takes time! It's enough if you use this once-twice a week to exfoliate the body.DO NOT USE THIS ON THE FACE! It's not for the face!
