And trust me, I was - frequently.Once the towel was in place, it was fairly easy to coerce the cat to come over & sit on it. I started using my hand & then introduced the glove, starting on her back when she wasn't looking.I could not believe the amount of hair I got out of her in a few minutes of stroking her with the glove. No wonder the poor little mite was coughing up hairballs if this is how much she was shedding!I repeated the brushing every day for a week until the rate of loose hair slowed and in turn, her hairball vomiting stopped pretty much straight away.Her coat was lovely & glossy after and she doesn't seem to mind me using the glove, assuming she doesn't see me coming at her directly. She will rub herself against it and roll around on my knee, but as soon as she realises its a glove, she seems to want to slink off, whereas when she doesn't know, she's happy to be touched - go figure.The hair was easy enough to get off the plastic brush - once enough of it was on there I could carefully peel it off in one go & drop it in the bin.My only complaints about this product are:The glove is so large that it moves about on my hand - there is no way to make it smaller for those with small/slim hands.Pet hair gets stuck in the fabric of the glove, so cleaning all hair off it after use requires a hoover or lint roller.I would recommend this product as it is gentle enough to use on short-haired animals without damaging their skin.

This handy and inexpensive tool arrived very quickly and on schedule. Throughout the task of grooming my cat, she purred loudly. The elasticated Velcro fastening means it fits perfectly making the job a pleasure for both of us. Hair is easily removed after grooming. A good buy.

Thos get so much furry out the picture was afyer about 3mins brushing my 8month old kitten. Only thing is the fur goes everywhere and I mean flying everywhere. Not sure how to stop that. Sure after a ek or so there won't be as much. And he loves it

I suspect this has varying effectiveness depending upon the breed you're using it on. On our Norwegian Elkhound, it did collect fur, but mostly it just pushed big fur clouds around that we had to pick up with the hoover.The glove is ok -- the hand pocket is big enough for my hand, but the wrist closure is ridiculously small; the velcro strap barely reaches around my wrist (about 17cm).

Only one glove. I suppose the listing is ambiguous in this respect, but I think this is poor.The spines are pretty short and thin- not strong enough for our hounds, so it’s going straight back.

Love these mitts. The rubber spikes are not too long & do a good job of getting the loose fur out and easy to remove fur from glove. My cat is short haired and didn't like the simular longer pronged brushes. Though for a long haired cat, I think the rubber bits might be to short.

Easy to use, fits snug on the hand, does up easily do it doesn't slip off whilst washing the dog, only issue we've found is the spikey washing bits are quite hard, we didn't scrub so hard but it would be better for longer haired dogs, but washes my short hair perfectly

Fa il suo dovere... Ho letto recensioni negative ma mi sono ricreduto... Toglie un sacco di pelo e il mio gatto lo sta adorando... Ogni tanto a furia di carezze si gira indietro ed inizia a mordere (per giocare si intende)..

Unsere Katze mag die Gumminoppen nicht wirklich, aber die Handschuhe sind trotzdem hin und wieder im Einsatz. Gute Qualität, bin zufrieden.

Gant acheté pour notre chat Oslo. Celui ci accepte trės bien d'être brossé par ce gant et trouve cela même trés agréable ( Ron Ron )Le gant est trės efficace et récolte beaucoup de poils. En le brossant régulièrement, cela évite à notre chat d'avaler trop de poils en se léchant. Nous sommes trés contents de cet achat

Der Handschuh ist viel zu unförmig und die Noppen zu groß.Direkt wieder retour geschickt.Retoure seit über 1Monat zurück und noch immer keine Gutschrift, trotz mehrerer Mails.Enttäuschend!
