It's super sour, will make your face wrinkle... also it is made with at least half sodium ascorbate, and this form of vit C has a lot more salt content, so you really need to drink lots of water. Ascorbic acid on the other hand, is a wonderful vit C version that will not wreck your organs with high salt content. I wish this was made with just ascorbic acid, which I take daily as a powder mixed with water. But I bought this for an upcoming holiday, as I don't want to risk delaying customs checks bringing a big bag of ascorbic acid which looks like drugs lol... so needs must and I reckon this jar of chewable vit Cs will be far less conspicuous looking.. It is cheap, and it will do the job temporarily. If it was made with purely ascorbic acid, I would happily take it more often/regularly, maybe sometimes even in place of my ascorbic acid mixed with water.

I am a mechanical engineer by profession and was an expert for BBC Watchdog and sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them.I had experienced an ongoing productive cough that had lasted weeks. I went to the doctor, got a chest X-ray and an a course of antibiotics. I gained no benefit from the drugs but the X-ray showed nothing. On a visit to Tesco I noticed that their vitamin C was sold as immune support. I bought some and magically the cough cleared up within a week. Now I take 1000mg every day without fail. Buying this pack from Bolo actually works out cheaper than buying from Tesco. Delivered in good time, great value, great taste, what's not to like. I thoroughly recommend this product to others. Go buy!
