Being 6”4 it’s difficult to find shorts long enough so I usually go for basketball shorts. These were still on the short side however didn’t look stupidly short. Good thick material so good in spring and autumn when it’s still warm but not too warm. Not so great in the night of summer as thick material and not overly breathable. Would recommend gym shorts if in a warmer climate
