I struggle to review supplements as it's diffiyti say if they have the ingredients they claim in them and if they are doing you any good. I can say that I have had no ill effects taking these and likely they are are what they say they are.no easier or harder to swallow than other equivalent supplements.

I used-to work in the industry, and put simply; always choose the Methyl-cobalamin derivative of Vitamin B12, and not the synthetic, cyanide-based, Cyano-cobalamin.Also, if you take a lot of supplements; make-sure to avoid as many fillers and anti-caking agents as possible. As, whilst most claim-to only use trace elements in their products, the build-up created when consuming lots of individual supplements is not only not very-good for you in the longer-term, but is mostly unnecessary in a lot of products.The use of talcum powder (as used in this product) used-to be used to stop the tablet machine itself from clogging-up, as well as having a slight ‘additional’ purpose of preventing the tablets from binding-to one another. We stopped using this long before this company was even formed. And we also stopped the use of Magnesium Stearate; (or Magnesium Salts of Fatty Acids) and that’s in here, too.‘Always’ buy Methyl-cobalamin; but without these anti-caking agents.There maybe some mild increases in energy levels; but that any potential increase will depend entirely upon the individual consuming this sublingual (let it melt under the tongue, etc.) supplement.Most will find that an intake of 500mcg per-day (one 1000mcg tablet taken every other day) from a good source of ‘methyl-based’ Vitamin B12 will be more-than sufficient, as these figures are ‘significantly’ higher than the recommended daily amount. (R.D.A.)There are 240 tablets per pot, and you’ll have-to decide whether this product is value-for-money, based upon your budget; but it’s by no-means the cheapest or purest option, even after ‘all’ of the major factors are considered.

Small pills. You are not supposed to swallow them whole, you need to let them dissolve fully in your mouth. The vitamin is absorbed properly that way. They taste fine, sweet and chalky. Container is fine and seals tightly.For the 1000mcg version, you only need one pill every TWO days, as per the instructions. You do not take one every day. That means the 240 tablet 1000mcg pack is a 16 month supply (240 x 2 / 30 = 16).For the 5000mcg version, you only need one pill every TEN days. You do not take one every day. This means the 90g version is a massive 10 year supply and the 58g version is a 6.66 year supply. That's an issue because the best before date will not last that long (the 1000mcg ones I got have 2.5 years until the date). So, the 5000mcg version should only be purchased if you have been advised by a professional to take a higher dosage or are going to share them with 3 or more people.Instructions and info about this could be better on the store page. The info is there but it should have it's own bullet point to really highlight it.Considering you don't need one pill every day these are actually great value.

These tablets are small, dissolving and have a nice sweet flavour to them. They contain 1mg and it is advised that you take it every other day. For reference this is about 10x the usual dose however the body will get rid of excess b12 in the urine without any problems and this high dose may help you replenish a deficiency more quickly. At £18 for an 18 month supply this is excellent value for money and I would recommend!

The dosage, as described on the label, is "Daily unchewed 1/2 vegan lozenge melt in the mouth". Presumably, that means you should take half a tablet a day, so it would make more sense to make the tablets half the size and the dosage one a day. As it happens, the dosage of 500mg is well above the RDI.However, this is a good quality product, made in Germany and has a slight, pleasant taste. And the price is reasonable. So if you want a B12 supplement, this is a good choice. Just give some thought as to what dosage you will opt for.
