The fit - I would describe it as "well fitted, snug", but not too tight.I absolutely love the neoprene cuffs... they 100% prevent any water from going inside the sleeve, and keep the warmth inside!The chest pocket( next to the zipper ) is great for keys, mobile phones, or important documents.The two pockets at the front bottom of the jacket are also great and with a soft lining inside.The hood is big enough to accommodate ear defenders and has an adjustment on each side.The front mouth guard is very useful( the jacket offers great protection in heavy rain.The jacket is made out of good quality, robust material.Does not absorb water so easy to keep clean, and dries fast.And the most important part - this jacket is 100% waterproof ! No matter how heavy rain you have to combat, it will keep you dry.👎I would love to have a slightly bigger hood.It would be great to have a "volume reducer" - an additional third elastic cord adjustable from the back of the hood, to prevent the hood from obstructing your view, when needed.Due to the fabric used, it is not breathable, so not good for heavy work, as you will sweat inside a lot.⏳I've been using it for some time now and it's the best waterproof jacket for work purposes I have ever had.Bought mainly for using a professional Karcher cleaner, but also for gardening work.💡I've paired it with a matching Helly Hansen Gala bib pants to have a fully waterproof set for work. This jacket is windproof, waterproof, light and comfortable to wear. It is not as breathable as a Seal Flex PU waterproof jacket; however, with some intelligent ventilation, condensation is not too much of an issue. The jacket despite not having many features will instil confidence in the mountains and on work sites it is equally at home on the urban streets. Unlike technical waterproof fabrics there is no DWR to wear off that needs continues reproofing. The hem drawcord is intelligently designed to be tightened from inside the hip pockets. There is a internal chest pocket that you can access when the storm flat is buttoned, which for me is more importance than the headphone port within the pocket. The zip seems to be of good quality and the zip puller is excellent. This is a good waterproof jacket that, you or the elements throw at it

Definitely waterproof but will have condensation because its waterproof and sizing is fits as expectedQuality is not cheap it's goodIts lightweight and can be used in any weather but you will need to wear extra layers underneath when working in the cold

The jacket is waterproof has integrated stretch cuffs which stops water running up your arms when working outside.Good value however it isn't breathable can leave you feeling warm and sweaty when it's wet but temp is mild

Bought for proper deluges and driving rain for coastal cycles and walks. I've owned gore-tex pro jackets and they wet out and over time DWR coating loses effectiveness even with re-coating. This jacket is completely waterproof, the PU membrane is environmentally a lot better than pvc/dwr chemicals; and it actually has a nice soft feel, no rustling. Seams are solid doesn't feel like this jacket could tear. The inner membrane makes it comfortable next to the skin (unlike traditional rubber jackets), the phone pocket is well located within the storm-flap for protection but accessible. With the neoprene cuffs can be used for kayaking as water ingress is prevented (velcro sleeve cuffs would make it even better though). The hood has quite a small top-flap but if using this in some really adverse conditions wearing a baseball cap under the hood is something which I do anyway; with the adjusters and the collar you can properly seal yourself in from the elements. Perhaps a couple of hand-warmer zipper-type pockets would make this jacket even better (though would also make it closer to the £100 mark). I use this jacket at the point where internal sweating isn't even a factor because it is raining so heavily. While a bit 'fisherman-ish' it isn't too shiny and smart enough to wear in town or to work. And the absolute best bit is trusting that you will be completely dry for a very reasonable cost. Have ordered the trousers too now, backing Helly Hansen quality.

100% waterproof. Excellent value for money. Doesn't rip, withstands going through fences and brambles. Not a heavy jacket, but it is quite warm. Easy to put layers underneath in cold weather so I'd buy a size bigger than usual to allow this. I'd definitely buy it again I've stayed dry dog walking and cycling in heavy rain with no problem. Dry pocket on chest keeps your phone dry as well!100% recommend

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Pros.Fits as advertised in size charts, and so far it's kept me dry though I've not been in heavy or extream weather conditions, I have been in light rain with medium wind as well as medium rain with little to no wind and so far it has not let the water in (no added water proofing was done by me its just straight out of the box) now I will say that if you want this to be your main wet weather jacket like my self I would suggest getting something to layer under it for warmth as this is not insulated so during freezing temp you too will be freezing. to circle back to sizing I'm 5,11 and 145lbs not fit just a regular build and got the extra small, my chest is 34 inches and my hips are a 30 and this jacket is by far the best fitting jacket I've had in my adult life with just enough room to get a basic sweater or zip up under for extra warmth on the days/nights that drop in temp (can be seen in pics over a basic sweater in one as well as over both the sweater and waiters in another)Cons.my only hang up is the cuffs being a neoprene (wetsuit like material) that is tight on the wrists (I have nerve damage on the top of my thumb and it can be difficult getting the cuff over without it hurting) it can also be a little difficult if you wear a watch. I'm also just not a fan of the main two pockets design there like cargo pockets but them being straight vertical designs they are not convenient for your hands as well as the tops only have a flap and doesn't actually have anything to secure the pockets closed so I don't want to trust them with anything that needs to stay dry
