Arrived in double quick time, far sooner than expected (3 days after ordering).With no experience, being guided by the handbook that comes with the flat packed kit, I managed to get the whole thing erected in 2 evenings (around 6 hours) single handed.The components are well designed and provide a strong, rigid structure. Being based in Scotland I was keen to get a fairly steep incline and the flexibility of the way the cover is erected permitted this.The support poles were mounted close to the edge of a decking area and secured firmly into decking beams.All components were present, and a few spare screws and bolts proved very useful.The only weakness I see in the assembly is the long "flap" that slots into the wall mounted bracket. This is moveable by design to allow for varying slope angles, but is probably the weakest part of the structure. The beams that run from the wall bracket to the front of the structure are only secured by 2 bolts, which slide along the lower groove on the beam. Whilst this makes a flexible solution I'm concerned they may move if not tightened very firmly.

My Sierra patio cover was delivered a month earlier than predicted. From opening the box it was obviously manufactured to a high standard with lots of thought applied to its construction. I erected it with the help of my brother (both of us over 60yrs) in less than 4 hours (in pouring rain and wind due to a planned event we wanted to use it for) the instructions were simple and included all the necessary advice regarding tool selection. It would be difficult to produce a patio cover of such quality and fine finish if sourcing the materials and manufacturing it yourself (even using wood frame and supports). My only reservation to the 5* review I would otherwise bestow is the guttering (the last part of the construction) it was a bit awkward and I am still not convinced it is fitted absolutly correctly (as the gutter doesnt seem to accept the rainfall without it washing back into the covered area beneath the cover). I will be reviewing this but will be willing to make adjustments of my own if I find it is in fact fitted correctly as I am so impressed with the product in general. I have also not allocated 5* for warmth, it offers no protection ftom wind across the patio, but in fairness that should be evident ftom its accurate description, if the question related to rain protection the result wojld be 5*. I would highly recommend this product and am so impressed with the build and service I would look first to this company for similar products.21/12/22 - I have now bought and fitted 3 of these of different sizes, at my house, a friends and my daughters. I would highly reccommend it for quality and ease of construction as well as the fact it opens up a part of your home for use making it possible to sit out even when raining. My advice would be read the instructions as you go, and although it is possible to erect with just 2 people a third is useful when you come to attach the legs to the roof frame to avoid dropping the structure (as we did) however, the compknents are robust and will not mark or damage easily.

I bought this off the brilliant reviews I read on Bolo and I can now join everyone else and say how happy I am with this brilliant quality easy to assemble and it looks amazing and makes the back of garden with this brilliant eating or hot tub space , if your thinking about it I’d say go for it you won’t be disappointed and it comes with a 7 year guarantee

I'm really pleased with the look of this patio cover, and am currently sitting under it while it is raining! I don't get very much sun on it so it doesn't overheat yet, by choosing the white option, it still feels bright and airy underneath it! I have it at the most shallow pitch but this does mean the guttering isn't as deep along the front. However, I do like the fact big objects are prevented from getting into the gutter by the design of it. We made a slight modification by bolting two brackets to it and connecting it to the wall. This was more a belt and braces thing, the reason being that the bolts which fix the roof joists to the wall plate could (if they all came loose at the same time!) slide completely out the top end of the joists. If I was to design these parts I would make it so the rail that the bolts slide in can only go in one end, so it is fixed at the top end! We will see how it copes with the wind but it seems quite robust. Please also share any ideas for blocking the sides off that is cheaper than £700!!

This is the first time I have ever written a review on an on-line purchase, The reason for writing is because I have never been so impressed with a product and the service given.The very large parcel arrived and delivered Free within 24 Hours. Carried by 2 strong men and placed carefully in my garage. I read the very explicit instructions and began to install the following day. I was initially impressed with the very strong aluminium frame and the ease of the assembly of this rather large canopy. It took only a day by myself to complete. I was exceptionally impressed with the invisible gutter which literally looks like part of the frame structure.Numerous friends and family have seen the canopy and as a result several have asked me to call at their properties and measure up for a size to suit.There is absolutely nothing negative I could possibly say about this fantastic product - Well done to the Supplier and Manufacturer.
