Bought these on a budget to replace hydraulic disk brakes on an old mountain bike. Limited instructions, but brakes were easy to fit and included bracket converters for my older fixings. Rear cable is a bit long and probably should be shortened. Initially I thought the brakes were poor, but they got better as the pads bedded in. I would say these mechanical brakes are fine for rough road or trail use, but for "real" mountain biking, you probably want some Shimano hydraulics.

Brake set...Easy to fit on my Boardman Hybrid...although the rear cable needed cutting slightly shorter.Brake pads supplied. Gap adjuster included.
