I bought these carrier bags twice to put drinks in and thought they were pretty good until recently I placed 4 one litre bottles of drink in them. When I tried to carry via the handles, the bags were immediately stressed, causing the handles to stretch out until they tore. You could argue that they're not meant for that kind of weight but that was why I purchased them, I didn't really think about it until this happened. On reflection they're not really 'strong carrier bags' as stated, nor are they 'heavy duty'. I would expect anything making those claims to be able to handle what I put in. Having looked at the bags again, they are actually quite thin and I think to be able to use them as intended I will need to double or triple the bags. So a bit disappointing.

I purchased 100 of these bags , described as " Strong " and " Heavy Duty " - they are neither , Every bag I have tried to use has split at the side seam just below the handle line. Not as described !! and Not fit for purpose.Waste of Money - avoid...

These are brilliant and very versatile I will use them for wrapping some gifts to keep items clean and intact before gift wrap.So many uses besides that and just great to have them to go to ,strong material thicker than a bin liner.
