good vent for the money
First vent arrived very beat up...looked like it got crushed or dropped. Sent it back. Got the replacement in short order and in good shape. Installed easily. Depending on your installation you may have to come up with some type of frame or plan to mount the vent. I built a 2x6 frame for it to mount in. I also had to run electric to the vent. Once those two issues were resolved it was a case of sliding the vent into the frame and plugging it in. The vent itself is reasonable quiet. I estimate about the same as a small oscillating table fan. Vent was installed primarily to draw cooler ambient air into attic space during hot weather. Attic was getting north of 130 degrees during hot part of day and making rooms immediately below impossible to cool. This vent resolved that problem by significantly lowering attic temperatures. The vent cut on/turn off temperature is easily adjustable. We have about four months experience with the vent and so far...so good.

I assumed the louvers and fan were separate they are one piece. My wall is 16 inches thick so I drilled out the rivets and riveted each half back together separately. Installed the louvers outside, the fan inside. Had a vibration in 2nd and a big shake in third speed. discovered one blade was lagging 3/32 of an inch behind the other two. I bent the fan blade hub of the lagging blade so all 3 blades now spin exactly in the same arch. Now fan runs smooth and quiet in all three speeds. Its task is helping refresh the air in a factory, which it is doing a fantastic job.
Easy to install.
Make sure to record warranty data before installing fan. Once the fan is installed the Model # & Serial # are hidden. Some vibration on high speed.
Iliving fan is a good purchase in my opinion.
I received my unit in good condition but have not had a chance to install it yet. I did test it out of the box and the different setting look like the work according to their specifications. I checked for draw and the Amps were right were they should be. It worked right out of the box and so far I’m waiting for the installation. Overall a ten if you ask me.Thank you.Terry Kakavoulis.

Not particularly easy to install, but it would be foolish to imagine that it would be. It took about a day. Had to move a stud, as it is wider than standard stud placement, but I knew this when I bought it, and planned it into the installation. Had to cut the exterior stucco with a diamond blade, which was a bit difficult, as it had to be absolutely perfect, but that was also expected. All in all, worth the purchase. I would buy it again if I had a need for another.
