Originally I placed a terrible review (below) and Sioncare Customer Support immediately got back to me with the following:Thank you for contacting Sinocare. I am sorry to hear that the Safe Accu 2 is not working as intended. We would like to help you solve the problem as soon as possible.Could you please test your glucose with the Safe Accu 2 twice within 30 minutes of fasting and give us the results? Please follow the instructions below.1. Please make sure that the second drop of blood flows out and then starts to absorb and measure. (Wipe off the first drop of your blood).2. Do not squeeze your fingers hard during testing.If there is not enough blood, do not squeeze your finger so as not to squeeze out the tissue fluid and affect the test result; instead, let the blood flow from the finger to the fingertip.Please let me know the result so that we can provide further support on this matter.We are well aware that the inaccuracy of the device is dangerous for our customers, we will urgently investigate the problem and try to rectify it as soon as possible.Kind regards,Sinocare-Customer CenterI followed the directions and everything is working perfectly now and I am very happy to have the consistent reading. Anyone who is interested in self care, prevention and management of health issues would expect to be able to rely on the efficiency of products and devices sold to help them achieve their goal.This device miserably fails to provide accurate and consistent readings. As I became more and more suspicious of it's efficacy, I decided to carry out a simple test. I took two measurements from different hands, within 1 minute/ I did not move and I did not consume anything at all. One reading was 4.9 and the other was 10.6! This is completely unacceptable and I can think of absolutely no logical reason why it should and could happen.Previously I used an Accu-check Nano and it was brilliant and reliable. As the strips became more and more expensive I decided to change. I regret my decision.

I was a little apprehensive about carrying out the tests but the first time is always the worst.Clear instructions, and I soon managed to carry out a test. I bought this to track my wife’s levels and although it suggests in the instructions it is a personal device I have tested myself and other family members. After all you change the ‘prick’ and test strips every time.It has a nice pouch to keep all the gear together.Very happy with this purchase.

Item arrived quickly, and I used it first on 11 June, 2025, before breakfast. It seemed to work well, and gave a sensible reading. Tried it again on 13 June, after breakfast, and was surprised to see a reading at the lowest point on the scale. Tried it again today, 16 June, and had trouble with the test strip reacting to the blood sample, and finished up squeezing my finger to increase the size of the blood drop. This resulted in a reading of "Lo". Read instructions again, saw that the finger should not be squeezed to increase the size of the blood drop as that could dilute the blood sample. Tried again, but without squeezing my finger, and yet again the test strip did not react at all to the blood sample. At that point, I gave up, concluding that the blood monitor appeared to be incapable of reliably operating. On this experience, I cannot give a rating beyond 2 star (and that was because the monitor worked once), and I cannot recommend this product.
