Bought for my husband to give him an idea of how his sugar fluctuates, wasn’t sure he’d use it but he has regularly checked his blood sugar and has been positively encouraged, adapting his diet when it reads high. So easy to use and small and convenient to store in a handy little case.

I bought this product because my other meter needed coded strips which had been difficult to obtain. I have had to return it to Bolo as its readings were different and actually way higher by between 1 and a whole 2 points. I tested the results on another monitor too. I could not rely on the accuracy si returned it, informed Bolo and had it replaced with the same model again. Unfortunately this replacement is giving similar results! So in my opinion it doesn't work well enough to trust if you should need complete accuracy to monitor blood sugar results for medical purposes.

It's good but a few problemsPersonally I don't think it's entirety accurate I always seem to stay in 5-6 range however given the fact I just need to monitor if my BSL has jumped after food or stayed the same I suppose it's goodPs I didn't need control solution for mine it seems to work right off the batMy other major problem I've had is any setting other then 4.5 and above won't extend out to prick you it doesn't extend enough past the lancing cap unless it's set to 4.5 or 5, which is fine for me as while I only need a setting of 1, with the needle needing to reach farther a setting of 5 feels like a 1.All in all you get what you pay for, I proberly won't use this brand again and will opt for a better more pricey one just to make sure it's accurate and good however if you're worried about being diabetic or just need to keep a rough eye on your levels this will work and do what it needs to

This is the second time I have purchased this set . The first set was over 18 months ago so I decided to replace it with a new one , although I have to say the first one still works perfectly and will be kept in my car in case needed .I find this an easy, pain free way to check on my blood sugar levels .Being diagnosed as Pre Diabetic I am keen to keep this under control to the best if my ability .I have no hesitation in recommending this product . It’s compact and easy to carry around , it all zips up in its own discreet little case .
