5.0 out of 5 stars Goes on any surface, but wouldn’t use in anything that opens/closes/pulls out/ pushes in.

The paint provides excellent coverage and a sleek, modern matte finish that looks great on everything from furniture to cabinets, and even on my front door. The quick drying time is also a huge bonus, making it easy to finish projects in a short amount of time.I decided to use it on an Ikea box unit to update the look of my storage area, and the result was fantastic at first. The paint adhered well and gave the piece a fresh, professional appearance. However, I did encounter a bit of an issue with marks showing up easily. When I slide out the fabric cubes that sit in the unit, the paint starts to show signs of wear along the areas where the cubes come in contact with the surface. Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to hide these marks, so I’ll have to repaint the affected areas if it bothers me, which is a bit of a drawback. That being said, this paint is still a great choice for most projects, and the finish it provides is stunning. If you’re looking for a high-quality, quick-drying paint with great initial results, it’s definitely worth it, just be mindful of how it holds up to friction over time!
5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!!!!!!
BRILLIANT paint!!! No sanding no priming - went on perfectly! Drys super quick! Cannot recommend enough! I used Matt Black. One coat!I also painted a shelf, metal mirror and front door stone step with it! All brilliantly covered!
5.0 out of 5 stars You won't use anything else once you try this
This has to be the best paint on the market, I can't comment on the gloss and satin version but the matt is superb. I painted PVC doors, guttering, metal poles that all face south onto the sun and the results are outstanding and still looking great. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and this paint is well worth the money. I still have loads left as it goes far, you won't regret buying this.
4.0 out of 5 stars New look Staircase
Lovely paint, chalk/matt finish drys quick, love the colour ...Looks grey black when dry. Enough to do six doors (one side each x 2 coats) console unit, banister and rails . Complete transformation. Does mark easily though not sure how long it will stay looking perfect, only time will tell.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic paint! 10/10
Genuinely the best paint I’ve ever used. Great coverage, fast drying and super easy to clean!
5.0 out of 5 stars Decent Paint - Need top lacquer / varnish though
I was really nervous about painting our kitchen doors with this because of the reviews I had read, but I think the paint is fantastic. In the image I attach, the bottom 2 cabinets have had their second coat. As long as you know how to paint (top to bottom) and not slap it on, the finish is spectacular. I intend to put on a clear matt lacquer to protect the finish, because I found that the paint easily marks - tested it with slightly dirty fingers. Overall really pleased with the result and highly recommend but you do need a lacquer or top varnish to protect it from getting dirty / marked. I would also recommend that you do leave it to dry for 2 hours, before you put on second coat, tested this again, and the paint if not fully dry but that's normal advice on any type of paint.
5.0 out of 5 stars Spreads nicely and has good coverage
The paint does seem expensive but I had good experiences with the coverage of the paint and after painting both sides of a door twice I still have 2/3 of 1L tin left.I wanted to make a white upvc 800x1900mm (est) door with a large glass window a little more discrete and blend into a wall, whilst also giving some privacy for people on either side (watching TV/on computers). For preparation, I wiped down the upvc frame, the door, the glass and the enamelled aluminium top frame above the door with warm soapy water and left them to dry, then removed the door handles. I chose not to 'rough up' the glass and upvc for better adhesion with sandpaper just in case I didn't like the outcome. I then painted all the edges and rubber seals against the glass with the onecoat via a brush and used a roller to cover the glass (but left the black rubber door seal unpainted). A few coats were needed over the rubber seals against the glass because the paint dispersed a little because I hadn't cleaned silicon lubricant properly but the paint applied very nicely to the glass and the upvc via a roller. The paint spread very well on the upvc and the glass, and one coat was almost enough. Perhaps it would've been enough if I'd applied a little more paint but I was taking it slow and carefully because I didn't want to risk the paint flaking off the smooth surfaces. I wasn't in a rush, so left it a couple of days between coats but ended up giving the door, the glass and the frame two coats which was probably unnecessary as I was only using this as an undercoat. However the second coat was much faster and easier to apply and made the quality of the paint job much better and would've been sufficient as an end product if I was stopping here.I always planned to use the onecoat paint as an undercoat and have now finished this little project and painted each side of the glass upvc door to match the colour in the room on each side. The Onecoat paint has done exactly what I wanted it to do as a base coat, it has adhered to the glass and upvc nicely and after about 5 weeks of it being finished I've had no problems with paint flaking or scuffs.
3.0 out of 5 stars Wrong colour Blue
I opened this blue paint thinking it was going to be darker from the imagery. Having applied to a large part of my furniture I just thought the royal blue might well go darker upon drying. It didn’t and I now have a royal blue unit half painted. Colour aside the paint itself is fantastic and went on smoothly and covered well. It’s defo a two coat paint but it was decent, just a shame the colour was miles different to the image. Be warned it’s not a navy colour
