Living in a house with a tiny front garden, passers by (and there's many, it's a popular walking route) can easily see into our living room..... We don't like being in a goldfish bowl! I had just got new wooden blinds installed which give less privacy than our old vertical blinds but I like the look of wooden blinds and figured I could add some type of privacy screening just to the lower quarter of the window so we are not seen by passers by when sitting on our sofa's. This window film was perfect. Easily cut to size, the lines run vertically as you unroll the tube of film, bit like unrolling from a tube of tinfoil. You must thoroughly clean your windows first (I just used a well known window cleaning spray with a microfibre cloth)So I cut my pieces to size to an exact fit rather than leaving an overhang, thenI sprayed lukewarm water with a tiny bit of washing up liquid added on to the window and one side of the film and placed the film on - it went on easily and was easy to maneouvre . I then smoothed out the water using the pressure from holding a scrunched up microfibre cloth, also tried a small squeegee that I had for cleaning my shower - both worked equally as well. The film did not fall off and no corners are sticking up.I did end up needing to trim about a 2mm overhang from one of the sides but did that easily by using a metal ruler and small utility/scalpel knife, it didn't need much pressure and cut off really neatly.Looks perfect from the inside and out. You can't see through from the outside, not even through the narrow less opaque horizontal lines but they still let light in.No more having to angle blinds for privacy!The film has been up over a month now and looks exactly as it did when I installed it.I would recommend this privacy film.

I needed more privacy on my bathroom window since a ramp was installed outside the house and people could now easily look in. I was unable to apply the stripes horizontally as my window was too long but I am glad I did it vertically. It was pretty simple to apply. I recommend doing it when it is dark outside as it is easier to see bubbles. I am very happy with the results and would recommend it.

Have used this brand before and have not had any problems. The film is easy to install, the most challenging parts were measuring up and taking off the backing paper.The biggest issue is that this was advertised as having vertical stripes, however, I received horizontal stripes. I was desperate for a solution so had to use this. Would be difficult if I needed to do more windows as could not be sure what type of stripes I'll receive. Quite disappointing

Je ne l'ai pas mis sur toute la vitre. J'ai 2 porte fenêtre dans ma cuisine de 45×200. Je l'ai coupé en 2 et installé en 5 minutes au milieu. Vraiment super produits et vraiment facile à mettre.

Also was soll ich sagen, dachte schon bezüglich mancher Rezessionen das ich einen Fehlkauf gemacht habe.Aber nein,es ist toll geworden 🤩Ich habe mir einen tollen Tip aus dem Internet angesehen, bezüglich der Schutzfolie abziehen!!!Der Zauberer Trick wie ich ihn nenne ist..Fenster nach der Reinigung mit Wasser u.Spülmittelgemisch das einsprühenDann die ganze Sichtschutz Folie""""inklusive der durchsichtigen Schutz Folie """mit dem Blick zu Dir !!!aufs eingesprühte Fenster drauf klatschen.dann sprühst du ,die Schutzfolie auch an volle Kanne 😂Jetzt kannst du gaaaanz leichtdie Schutzfolie die ja zu dir schaut entfernen und zu Boden gleiten lassen (hast ja nur 2 Hände)Dann und dieser Schritt ist wirklich wichtigmusst du die Ganze Folie die ja jetzt auf Beiden Seiten Klatsch nass ist UMDREHEN .Das Positionieren sollte jetzt sehr leicht möglich sein.Mit einem Dusch Abzieher das Spülmittel Wasserrausstreichen und Fertig 😀🥰Beim Messen habe ich ca 1,5 mm weniger als das Endmass genommenweil ich nicht am Fenster Schneiden wollte.LG

If you’re wondering if you will need to buy the application kit you don’t. I just used a Stanley knife, empty bottle of windex filled with water and my $2 ikea squeegee to apply it and it was totally fine.Two things though that no one has mentioned: the lighter “clear stripe” is not see through (see closeup). Also you can overlap the film! In the photo of the whole window there are two joins which aren’t super obvious unless you look closely. This window took me one larger roll and one smaller one.
