I started taking these around four weeks ago and after a week I thought that my skin on face and hands looked a little bit better. I didn't think it was noticeable to anyone else but it made me look and feel better in myself. I'd forgotten about the pain in my feet and thought I'd done really well to walk five miles minimum for a week when I went to visit family. BUT, what is really noticeable is the difference now I've stopped taking them – my skin is definitely more wrinkled and dryer looking and my feet hurt again! I realised it must be these capsules having an effect so I've ordered another month's supply just to check it out. For me, they seem to have made a difference in my skin and joints, so for a little outlay each month I'm going to continue with them – maybe keep taking a break to see how bad I really am.The capsules are small in size and easy to swallow.

Having taken these capsules now for almost a full month I have definitely noticed my skin looks slightly plumper. I find the capsule is really easy to swallow and no side effects. It would be interesting to see if the results over a longer period of time have even more of an effect so it would be worth keeping up with them a little longer. However if no further improvement is seen then I would say it’s not worth the investment as better results could be achieved by a good skincare regime.

Really didn't find that these tablets made any difference. I have problems in my knees which are really sore and feel very stiff especially on cold damp days and I took these hoping for some kind of relief. I didn't notice any difference and can only surmise that they do not do what they are intended for.

I never realised you could take this in tablet form. I had always assumed it was only available as a skin cream. If this actually does as it says, I will definitely be buying it in the future and I will post an update in a few months time to let you know. For now, I’m certainly willing to give it a good go.

Firstly, these come in a gelatine capsule (bovine) so not suitable for vegetarians. They are the sort of capsules that you can open though, so if you're a vegetarian you could remove the powder from the capsule and just swill down with a drink.Like many tablets, the packaging is far too big for the contents. The 30 tablets fill approx a fifth of the bottle. These days, when we are all concerned with the overuse of plastic, this is a problem. I appreciate that Nature's Bounty are far from the only supplement/tablet supplier who provides oversized containers but all manufacturers need to look at how they can reduce plastic waste in these bottles.Onto the tablets themselves. These are sold as a beauty product, to support skin strucure, helping skin look and feel more supple. Hyaluronic acid has other benefits - such as relieving joint pain. Now, I'm a big fan of Dr Joe Schwartz, Director of the McGill Office for Science and Society, at McGill University in Canada, who writes a lot of interesting and entertaining stuff about chemicals, food and nutrients. And his team at the university say that hyaluronic acid has a positive effect on joints and skin.But here's the caveat - the dose level that does make a difference is 120-240mg per day to make a difference to skin. These tablets are 20mg, so you would need at least 6 per day to make a difference - so this bottle, at £11.13, would last 5 days. Whether the 20mg -40mg recommended dosage makes a difference remains to be seen, as my wife has only just started using them. Hopefully at a reduced dose there will be a small difference, but it can take 30 days or so for the difference to be noticed, but if you are after a real difference you might need to find a cheaper source, as these will work out very expensive at 6 per day.

Nice idea, nice size and easy to swallow BUT gelatine capsules and the dose is too low to make a significant impact. Shame I will be seeking out alternatives.

Hyaluronic acid is being talked about everywhere at the moment, I have just started taking these and looking forward to seeing improvements to my skin structure. Not sure why pain relief is listed as a five star option as that is not the purpose of the tablets. Easy to swallow and no taste.

I was happy to test Nature's Bounty Haluronic Acid 20mg with Vitamin C Capsules pack of 30 ,but after taking them for almost one month I can not see any results.My skin is very dry and I tired to fight with it using different creams,so thought that these capsules will help me,but no any changes.
