    Ready in 8 Hours

Thick, creamy yoghurt, in whatever flavour you fancy, in as little as 8 hours…what’s not to like?

    Easy to Use

An easy-to-read digital screen allows you to set the time and temperature (between 1-99 hours and 25-65°C) for whatever you’re making and then your work is done until it’s time to pick up your spoon and tuck into your treat.

    Make Your Favourite Yogurt

This compact electric yogurt maker can produce up to 1.65 litres of plain yoghurt or 1 litre of Greek-style yoghurt. If you’re a fan of thicker, tangier Greek yoghurt, just strain your plain yoghurt to take away the whey – it’ll take a bit longer but trust us, the wait will be worth it.

    Make Soft Cheese

You can also make soft, creamy cheese in as little as 10 hours by stirring some lemon juice into your plain yoghurt before straining. Try it spread on bagels with smoked salmon or on chive-topped crackers – just to give you a couple of ideas.

    Accessories Included:

    • 1.8 litre container with a working capacity of 1.6 litres
    • 1.6 litre container with a working capacity of 1.5 litres

Strainer for draining the whey when making thicker Greek-style yoghurt or soft cheese

We’ve also included some recipes with the BPA-free machine to give you some extra inspiration.

    3 Year Guarantee

Had it now for a year and makes wicked yogurt, soft cheese and Greek style yogurt too . This has saved me so much money over the past year . So easy to use. Different temp and length settings if u need em . Just whack 1l semi skimmed uht milk in and 2-3 tbsp of yeo Valley or onken as well , stir n set to c1 42c 10 hrs then chill when finished for 4 hrs and enjoy. U can even put it thru the strainer to get thicker yogurt. My only gripe is I wish I bought this sooner . Just buy it n u won't be disappointed 😁

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to use, basic yoghurt maker

    T. · 13 April 2025

I 100% recommend this yoghurt maker. So much so, I bought my daughter one too. It is very easy to make your basic yoghurt and Greek yoghurt in this machine. Don't buy this thinking you can make L Reuteri, or other cultured yoghurts in it. You cant. The temp and timings are not right for those. I bought a Luvele yoghurt maker for that. Do not fear. This makes great yoghurt, and can also make a soft cheese, but I haven't attempted that yet. I actually make yoghurt in this 3 times a week, and always find it does a consistent job. Although you don't get much Greek yoghurt by the time you have strained it, you do get the added bonus of the whey. Don't throw it out! There's so many uses for this golden liquid. It's full of proteins and probiotics. You can drink it straight, add it to your smoothies, replace the liquid in your homemade bread with it, use it to start off a new ferment, or even use it diluted to water your plants. So buy this bargain yoghurt maker and enjoy knowing what you're feeding your loved ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for L.Reuteri Yoghurt

    T.S. · 12 April 2025

I bought this specifically to make L. reuteri yoghurt - the kind that’s meant to help with gut health, mood, and testosterone levels. My first attempt was in a warm airing cupboard. Not a disaster, but I couldn’t be sure it held the required 38°C for the full 36 hours. Results were edible, but patchy.Enter the Lakeland yoghurt maker: under £30, gives you total control with custom temperature and time settings, or handy presets if you prefer. I set it to 38°C for 36 hours, and the result was spot-on: thick, creamy, and exactly what I was hoping for.Simple to use, easy to clean, and doesn’t take up much space. If you’re chasing perfect ferments (or girthier gonads), this little gadget’s a no-brainer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile tool for yogurt and natto

    J. · 28 May 2025

Really pleased with this. I've used it to make ordinary live yogurt, L Reuteri yogurt, and Natto (fermented Soy Beans). All came out perfect and it's very easy to use. Looking forward to attempting some Greek-style yogurt and soft cheese.I don't understand the 'flimsy' reviews. It's a yogurt maker and it's strong enough for my purposes. Easy to clean too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed

    K.F. · 12 June 2023

This is more style over substance. It’s a very poor replacement for the original Lakeland yoghurt maker that we’ve used for years. Maybe that’s it – it lasted too long, and wasn’t making much of a profit. Before this, it was 900ml UHT milk and a couple of dessert spoonfuls of Yeo Valley organic natural yoghurt, mixed together with a spoon, left overnight in the gentle heat of the yoghurt maker and in the morning, wake up to a lovely smooth yoghurt.Alas, that machine packed up, so I went online and, after checking ‘Top Picks’ and ‘Best Yoghurt Maker’ reviews, the Lakeland one stood out from the rest. A no brainer I thought.I tried this way and that – using the UHT milk as before, full milk and semi-skimmed milk. None of them looked or tasted like smooth yoghurt, the consistency was very thin and didn’t even look very good. The ingredients were as fresh as you can get.I did notice that a lot of reviews mentioned inconsistency in the temperature, and found that the base of the unit inside was very hot, compared to the gentle heat of original model.Boiling the milk and all that faff was a real pain – guess it’s the ‘health and safety’ attitude that’s so pervasive in today's ‘nanny state’.The instructions state that for the large container (1.8l) 165ml of starter yoghurt is used in 1485ml of milk. That’s equivalent to just over 11 tablespoonfuls, or more than a small shop bought natural yoghurt, which is a ridiculous and excessive amount. The height of the containers is quite impractical too, making it difficult to store in most fridges. This is a very poor replacement to the original model, cheaply made in China.Lakeland are well known for selling quality products, but have let themselves down badly in this case.Have returned it to Bolo for a full refund.Back to shop bought yoghurt in future.

4.0 out of 5 stars Makes Yogurt to my Taste

    K. · 26 June 2023

My trusty old Lakeland yogurt maker finally bit the dust and I decided to replace it with another of the same make. I cannot fault the yogurt it makes. I use Sainsbury's fat free UHT milk - as I have always done - and 100mls of Yeo Valley Organic Natural Yogurt as a starter. Having read that Greek Style Yogurt has less sugar in it and as I am monitoring my sugar intake (as well as fat intake) I decided to strain the yogurt using the strainer provided. It works well and I like the greek style yogurt it produces but I do feel that for very regular use this strainer is a bit flimsy. I have an old Lakeland cheese strainer that has a metal mesh that is much more robust but would not take the amount of yogurt to make greek style in one go. I feel I may have to seek a replacement strainer (if it is possible to buy one) for the yogurt maker despite being ultra careful with it. Another gripe is that there is no storage for the electric cable as there was on the old model. Hence the 4 star overall rating despite the 5 stars for temperature control, ease of use and flavour. Really, the flavour depends on what ingredients you use.
