I bought this tens machine to replace an old one I had. In fact I bought two as gave one to my son. I have found them very helpful for easing pain.

I bought this after my trusty tens machine of 6yrs was smashed. I thought given how many modes this had, that i would be able to find some mode to suit. Firstly the modes are good and there’s surely one to suit most people. Also the instructions are very clear and describe which mode is best for which part of body and ailment. I also like that it has a belt hook so it can be easily hooked on to clothes if you don’t have pockets.However, the cons far outweigh the pros for me. I use my tens unit a lot, thanks to a chronic condition. This unit has a very loud annoying beep with each key that is pressed, which cannot be muted nor turned down in volume. Consider if you need to set your unit to 30-that’s 30 annoying beeps you’re listening to, as is anyone around you. If you long press the increase button it will do 10Quick succession beeps and jump up the increments in steps of 10 but still it’s too annoying. This also makes it a nuisance I’d like me you have to use it in work or at nighttime when the rest of the house is asleep. Another huge flaw is that each mode has a default time limit to shutoff - E.g. 30mins. So automatically after 30mins it cuts off and you have to go about resetting the whole thing and listening to the beeps again etc. This is completely impractical if you need to use it for any length of time or if you’re sitting in work etc. It can also catch you unaware E.g. I use mine for washing dishes to allow me to stand long enough for that process. If it just cuts out it leaves me automatically in agony! Also it says in the instructions that the batteries should last 20 days approx. Based on 30min per day usage. To me that’s a very poor battery life. My last tens machine I wore for long periods of time and rarely needed to change the batteries!Too annoying to put up with for me. It also arrived with a small crack in the screen so was returning anyway but wanted to at least try it out before reordering the same one. My personal opinion is that there’s better, less annoying ones for around the same price.

Never got a chance to use but opened and read the instructions. Unfortunately, there were so many parts you could not attach to that came as warnings, hence the immediate return. The item description should have mentioned these conditions before purchase which would have made sense.It is probably a good unit but unable to use.Also, the box was delivered without any packaging just a label stuck to the box. Makes it difficult to remove to provide a returns label thus damaging the box covering, which seems a shame especially when never used.

This is very good for the price. I gave 4 stars as the leads that come with it are really long could probably do with 2 or 3 different length leads depending on where on the body you need to use it on and how tall/big/wide the body using the device is! the clip which slides into place to hold to the waist band/belt comes unclipped very easily, which then falls off and pulls the leads ergo damaging them even the unit itself in my case as it can connect with the floor from my hight. Put it in your pocket then!- only if your pockets are big enough and deep enough the device seems small but due to its shape it can slide out of a pocket. The replacement leads i sent for though we're shorter so that's a plus point. I do like the different modes and preset programs, take time to go through them to find your favourite settings and you can use this whilst on the go. Another good point is the ability to lock the programme so you can't alter the setting accidentally; a benefit when you are on the go. I have used mine regularly since buying it, It does require 3 AAA batteries but i have to say the battery life is also good. For the price it's worth it to have that extra pain relief, especially being able to use it even when at work.
