It was easy to fit to the wall and looks really smart—much neater than having a loose hose lying around.It’s on the heavier side, but that’s actually reassuring—it feels solid and high quality, built to last. The automatic rewind is a big plus; it keeps the hose neatly tucked away, which not only looks tidy but also eliminates any trip hazards.The spray gun has loads of functions, all working perfectly with no leaks or pressure issues. The only minor gripe is that the hose occasionally doesn’t retract fully on its own, but a gentle pull gets it moving again easily.All in all, a well-made, good-looking bit of kit that keeps the garden neat and makes watering much easier. Highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded. I’ve always been put off by the cost of these type system hoses and have managed with an inexpensive bog standard hose which I manually wrapped round a bracket. After many years use that hose has got shorter and shorter due to it cracking at stressed points where it’s kinked. Having a 17metre long garden I didn’t need a 25 metre so this was ideal.Fixing the hanging bracket was simple and easy with good quality fixing and wall plugs that come with the hose kit . Plumb in the piping was also easy ( ignore the water drip at the point of the tap in my video that’s my tap not the fixings ). All taking less then 30 minutes to do .Oh my what a difference this type of hose system makes !!! Watering my garden and things like jet washing is now going to be an absolute breeze .The ratchet recoil works perfectly moving back and forth at the same time so no more tangles .Neat and tidy stored away in the sleek looking holder too so sheltered from elements that may effect the longevity of the hose too.I choose this one above other due to the metal pin that sits in the wall bracket giving it strength in my opinion.Love the functionality of the way it also swivels 360 degrees to so I can easily take the hose to the front garden to water the plants etc too without any adjustments.Absolutely worth its weight in gold in my opinion

We wanted an automatic rewind hose reel for two reasons:1) They are neater in appearance and slightly more compact than the standard floor standing ones.2) The convenience and speed in winding the hose.If you have never owned an automatic rewind hose, once you buy this, you will question yourself as to why you put up with the manual variety for so long!Straight from the outset in deciding which auto rewind reel to buy, the high cost of automatic reels took us by surprise. We had until now, always purchased Hozelock brand, and those are priced at £70-£90. However, this VonHaus model was far more affordable (almost half the price of Hozelock). But because it is almost half the price, don't be fooled to thinking this is some type of budget reel. We have a couple of VonHaus items and we have never been disappointed with the quality.Comes with all the fixings required (4 large masonry bolts and plugs). The hose casing is all hard plastic and has a steel rod that slots into the wall mount allowing it to be lifted and carried by the handle into storage. However, as a security feature, the steel rod also has a small hole at the base to allow a padlock to be fixed and therefore locking the case to the wall mount.Once in place, the hose casing swivels about 190 degrees, which is enough to tuck comfortably out of the way against the wall. If you attach it directly on the wall instead of a wooden batten (as we did), then it will protrude even less and will swivel flush to the wall even more.We decided to mount ours on a wooden post/batten instead of straight into the masonry. This is more of a lack of confidence in our brickwork/mortar rather than in the supplied fixings, but also because it spreads the load a little better. (Used 4x 50mm Wood Turbo Coach screws instead of the supplied masonry ones).At first it takes a couple of go's to get the knack in pulling the hose or rewinding it with a little tug and release, but not an issue. Great value and very pleased with the quality.If there is a negative, it is that (as far as I know) the hose length only comes in one size option (20m).If VonHaus produced a 30m version, we would buy that also!*Edit:As of June 2019, 2 years after our purchase, I notice that Von Haus now has a 30m version. However, at £95 - it's a little steep!. In fact, even the 20m version that we bought is now £60. We only paid £40 for it 2 years ago.No thanks Von Haus! From 5 star down to 4 star.

Just the job - feels solidly made, with good quality hose and fittings. Retraction spring is really strong - be interesting to see how long it stays strong, but currently a vast improvement compared to struggling to wind up the old manual reel. Wall bracket is nice and solid with a sturdy metal pivot - I like the idea of just lifting the whole thing off and stowing in the garage in the winter. Supplied wall fixings are perfectly adequate, but note you’ll need a 12mm masonry bit, also I found it difficult to fully tighten two of the four ( hex head) bolts ( the bracket is not symmetrical) due to the shape of the plastic moulding obstructing the wrench - really needs a socket wrench - 10mm I think - or use different fixings. Obviously needs to be fixed very securely as there’s a fair bit of weight and a lot of yanking the whole thing about when in use. Seems a reasonable price for the quality and functionality

Great hosepipe, and the self retractable hose is brilliant. Wouldn't want one without that feature now, it saves time and the irritating job of winding it back up manually! Easy to attach to the wall, the fixings and hose attachments are all included, I really don't have a bad word to say about it. It definitely seems as if it should be a lot more expensive than it is. A great design all round.

Installer depuis environ 2 mois, le produit rend les services qui lui sont demandés. Pratique car il pivote a droite et gauche. Le tuyau revient à sa place sur les 50 mètres. A noter que suite à "la perte" d'un exemplaire pendant le confinement, l'entreprise a accepter de rembourser le produit égaré.
