Alot of reviews talk about the taste but the taste is normal for an unsweetened plant protein powder. The subtle cacau taste is earthy and natural and to be honest it's not nearly as grainy as the Soya protein isolates versions I've had before so I'm happy with texture. The fact is this is the only plant brand I can find that seems 100% committed to natural and that doesn't use gums and Emulsifiers etc. so if your main concern is taste you need to go for other brands. The taste is good with banana and fruits, it's then sweet but still natural. I bought this for the purpose of adding to my daily fruit shake so I don't need it to taste amazing alone. It's all about what your purpose is so for me I'm happy and will keep buying.

I start saying that I wanted to switch to vegan proteins because I am tired of normal milk or whey proteins (they are fine, but sometimes they are too sweet and they have too many additives that I do not want to take: caffeine, BCCA, etc). I found BodyMe Organic Vegan Protein Powder Blend | Raw Cacao with very good characteristic and a well balanced nutritive composition. Then I read the reviews and everybody was so enthusiastic about these proteins and I wanted to give them a try.The product arrived in a plasticised paper bag. The smell is fine but problems start when I tried to dissolved them in water. It just does not dissolve at all!! Then I tried to drink it and it seemed that I was drinking a very fine sand. The taste it is not so bad, but the consistency is horrible. I do not know how people can say that are amazing. I even tried to mix them with some other whey proteins (they usually contain emulsifiers that help to dissolve/disperse the proteins in water) and they still have a horrible consistency. I do not want to use them with any kind of milk, they may be better. However, I was looking for product that I can drink just with water and this is not the right one. I am very sorry for the company, because it seems on paper a very good product, but not for me.

Ok I have bought a few different products over the years and this is by ingredients is a very good product and is organic. However one needs to be able to drink this and its proven difficult unfortunately. Its very grainy and not at all smooth like many of these drinks. The only way I have managed to consume this is by adding a banana to the powder which makes it more palatable. Big shame as I was really looking to add this as a staple part of my diet.

After reading all the reviews on here before purchasing, I knew that I would most probably like it.Even though some people said it “tastes like dirt” it is a very simple and healthy recipe.There are no nasty additives and it tastes great when you add and banana and get a little more adventurous with blueberries ! Organic Oat milk also helps to sweeten it, or just add organic oats and filtered water, which will do the same thing. I love how it tastes so earthy and healthy, it helps me to feel full for at least 3/4 hours.I was looking for a boost of protein in my vegan diet and this seems to do the trick!Overall I love it and will be purchasing it again!(Also the packaging is cheerful and brown paper!)

Iv tried a few vegan proteins now, I'd go as far to say this was and is the best on taste..Best with a banana an none dairy milk for optimum consumption. Also the ingredients are of good quality, suppling good plant based nutrition whilst not harming any animals in the process. I'd recommend and have done.

So i suspect a lot of people did the same as me and assumed this tasted like the main stream vegan shakes... nope. This is as raw and organic as they come. I had to buy a calorie free sweetener from another fitness brand which has made ALL the difference and I can now tolerate the hemp-style flavour. Think very earthy! So defo get for the nutritional side and then think about how you are going to use it. Definitely has to be sweetened for me. And blended is best.

I am using this to supplement my keto diet with some added dairy free protein, as the non dairy varieties upset my stomach. I add it to my daily spinach shake, which I make in a ninja. Therefore, I don't get the gritty texture and as I add a few drops of coconut stevia, it tastes great.There is a hint of the cocao flavour, but not seriously chocolaty, but then again I like cacao for its vitamin and mineral profile, not just it's taste. I was surprised to notice after starting this my DOMS seems greatly reduced. Having tried the smaller packet first, I have now purchased the large size.It might be worth noting, it Is always better to get protein from good sources of free range/non-gmo meat, fish & poultry, but for on the go, this works well as a booster with a meal replacement shake.

I think people who buy this protein expect it to taste amazing because it's just amazing health stats, and are used to buying sticky sweet protein powders (like whey or other sweetened with Stevia). Tbh it definitely has a grainy texture BUT mixed into a proper shake (banana, flaxseed, plant milk, a bit of spinach, blueberries for sweetness, ice) is where it shines. There haven't been any long term studies yet on the effects of Stevia, and if you are truly trying to wane yourself off sugar, this is your stuff. You get to choose what you sweeten your shake with - fruit, dates, honey - and how sweet you like it. For anyone looking to purchase this powder, just know it's not a just add water and drink like you would find with whey proteins. But the potential mixed with the right ingredients, and the power to choose your sweetener and sweetness level to ME it's worth more than what they charge for this beauty! No nasty emulsifiers or artificial gunk here - just pure a+++++ healthy ingredients. It has changed our lives for sure. 😊

Bleneded Vegan Powder with no zero calorie sweetner!

It is very difficult to find a Vegan blended protein with no zero calorie sweeteners. I am happy with the purchase but may buy this again without Cacao as i feel that that it did not change the taste much and added 1 extra gram of carb and 2 less grams of protien.I am still experimenting with the right amount of sugar to use to make this product easier to drink. It would be nice to know what the mfg think the right amount of honey or sugar that would make this easier to drink.Also, good to know that this product came from UK because they have higher health standards than the US.

Kein Zucker oder Süßstoff und guter Geschmack

Eins der wenigen Produkte ohne lästigen Zucker oder Süßstoff, und der Geschmack ist auch noch klasse. Seit einiger Zeit ein fixer Bestandteil meines Frühstücks, den ich nicht mehr missen will. Empfehlenswert.
