No carpet cleaner (not bothered about it), 2 screws missing for handle (good job I have screws) now for product easy to assemble and it it's a good price good clepaner

I did not want to spent a large sum of money on a carpet shampooer, so after reading reviews on different makes available I plumped on this Russell Hobbs model.It is easy to use and it did a fantastic job in cleaning our carpet, which was starting to look 'tired' and a little grubby.It managed to extract most of the shampoo/water solution during the cleaning process and left the carpet just slightly damp. I left the carpet a couple of days to let it dry out, by which time it had completely dried out.The carpet has been brought back to pristine condition and looks a 'million dollars'.A great machine that represents excellent value for money.A very minor criticism, when operating it the machine is very noisy. I would recommend that ear defenders be used by the operator.

I bought this in June 2024 it now 23rd February 2025 and just used it for it's final time tonight the motor went suddenly and all i was doing was sucking up the water out my carpet. It's been wonderful to use but now I have to buy a new one if i can't find someone to insure it and fix it.So maybe encase of breakage and issues like this, put a warranty on it and recommend insurance companies you know can cover this. Because 4 uses and in less than a year, that's pretty back considering it's price I'm sorry but I'm not buying this again, I'll shop somewhere else as it breaking like this is just for it to break in less than a year isn't worth it.Quick update, so I have found a second issue that i didn't know about, I have bought a vax pet advanced to replace this one, that although was originally £169.99 to £96.18, I bought it one day after the Russel Hobbs let me down. I can't believe how bad this machine really is, I've realised it's very cheaply made, not built to last, my carpet is a blue white carpet, this machine, has failed each time i used it to make my carpet whiter, as I have pets and they can make my carpet dirty despite it being in my bedroom which i don't mind as I love animals. However I realised, very quickly that it doesn't do very much to clean a carpet.First of all, it makes the carpet soaking wet, like you threw a bucket of water over it, because even when you suck the water out, it's barely collecting anything, which means my carpet is soaking wet and i'm having to walk on a wet carpet. It also doesn't help, that it takes over an hour for machine to do a decent job at cleaning the carpet. I didn't want to be harsh, and I believed it was a good machine, and maybe i just needed to hoover my carpet a lot longer well, I just found out that it really is just a very poor brand.Getting vax, I found, i didn't need to do very much, it not only, took out more dirt from my carpet, thanks to it's double rotating brushes, but it also, sucked out more dirty water than Russel Hobbs ever could. In comparison, Russel Hobbs, the water is a pale brown, but with Vax it's a very dark brown, and looking at my carpet it's not only turned blue and white again, but it physically corrected by shaggy carpet, making it fluffy again and not compacted, due to high traffic. It's amazing how it didn't just turn my carpet new again, but the amount of dirt it took out my carpet on it's first try, and how it made my carpet like new in colour and making it shaggy.I honestly wish i'd bought vax in the first place, it does a whole lot better, saves time, is effective, dematting shaggy carpets even if compressed, it is honestly, the best purchase, compared to this one. Sure it has a nice appearance, but it's cheap, and vax maybe more expensive but you're getting your money's worth, with something that saves time effort, and is reliable has better features, offers so much more.That's why it's best to avoid this all together, honestly I bought this due to it being Russel Hobbs and thinking that due to the reviews it was good. But it's not, always look up a brand before you buy it as reviews can be misleading, it maybe good for them, but how many of the people who were happy with this at first then ran into issues, that didn't review their first review we don't know. But in all honesty, it's always a good idea to look at things like trustpilot, because not all reviews on Bolo are helpful, it's how you buy something to then be like me.Go with your own intuition and if something is cheap avoid it, and go with something better and if you can insure it then do it, but do not buy something because it's cheap just to find out why it's so much cheaper than something expensive.

I was initially going to write a bad review fr this as very little water was being collected .I previosly owned a Hoover one and the idea wwas to release the trigger and move forward then draw back andsuck up the dirty water . When I tried this with this one like many of the negative reviews there was hardly any water collected . Then !!!!! I read the instructions again and eureka !!! this model does the opposite you relaese the trigger and pull back and the move forward . Voila !!!! dirty water tank full ,Great little machine and no belts to worry about breaking .
