Not too runny, not too gooey, no fake taste, no dodgy belly even if I have lots of them. Wouldn’t attempt a fuelled run without them!!

    I recently bought some KMC gels, they have a nice taste however they are far too runny, these gels on the other hand are just the right consistency and as they are slightly smaller they are easier to stash, also the tab works well when you want you you then on the bike.

    Never had gels in my life and got into a mess with a 100 mile training ride prior to my A & B events so decided to go with Torq gels.Consumed 15 gels at a rate of 1 every 30 minutes for a 120 mile / 13000ft Sportive at hard pace.Absolutely no stomach issues whatsoever and fuelling was perfect. Hydration was Precision Hydration 1500 electrolyte. The really strong stuff as cramps are an issue with me.

    Though it can be a bit sickly sweet Torq raspberry ripple energy gem is THE BEST gel for a quick energy boost on the trail.Tastes just like ripple sauce on a Mr Whippy. Tasty and helpful.Avoid energy gels that are like sweet snot and have one of these instead.

    Taste is good, pretty sweet but no after taste and easy to consume. Gives a good boost not as much as sis beta but they a decent price. The packaging with the tab that’s meant to stay attached is crap and digs into your mouth, you need to take off the tab altogether. If you do loads of gels with that tab you’d ruin your mouth, seems like this hasn’t been tested, just rip it off and stick it in the back pocket
