I have brought numerous 4 colour bic pens over the years. I love having one pen with different colours as I like to use different colours when at work to highlight various things. I love the pencil element on this pen and it also has a rubber on the top. I wish it came with extra rubbers as it does come with extra leads. I have found I use the pencil a lot and the rubber. They added the pencil and took out the green pen which was a good idea as this is always the least used for me on my 4 colour bics.

These are what they are - cheap BIC type pens/pencils however I find them very useful and, for the money, incredibly good value. I keep them tucked in the springy part of a large notebook and it means I always have black, blue, red ink biros as well as a propelling pencil. They are each extremely easy to select and use and i can not fault the operation. Because you have four devices in the one barrel it of course makes the overall width of the pen quite wide. However for lengthy writing I would use a normal pen obviously - the benefit of these is being able to highlight things clearly in different colours, jot a pencil note/drawing etc all in the same device. I would recommend them and extremely cost effective.

Pencil great but the pens too short
I love these pens so I was really happy to find they make one with a pencil included. I was very disappointed that the pens are too short when you use them, they only protrude slightly so you cannot really write with them, the wide barrel stops the pen reaching the paper to write. Sadly I wouldn't recommend, perhaps I got a dodgy one.
