    First time choosing this brand, went purely on weight to price, it's as good as any other pink salt and the couraeness is prefect for pinching and dissolves well into dishes while still having enough texture to sprinkle ontop of meals, no grinder required.

    I have been buying pink salt for many years, always buy the "fine" variety and it's always much the same no matter where I buy it. This time however, the brand I have bought the last few times was not available and so I went for this one. I don't know if it is any better or worse, but it is certainly different. Although clearly the "fine" variety, it is very coarse and also a much darker colour. The thing I don't like much is that it has a lot of big clumps and some of them are quite hard to break up, ie it's not just a case of pressing down with a spoon. One very big clump I picked up to crush it and had to exert quite a bit of pressure to do so (at which point it exploded in all directions, accompanied by a few choice words lol). So, I guess generally speaking this salt may be as good as any others (perhaps it is better), but I don't really know for sure.
