Steel casing and bezel beautifully finished a quality's watch for the price. One of the stand out features being the Citizen Eco drive solar powered. The lume quality is outstanding at this price and is still reable in dark many hours later. There has comments about the stiff strap I have almost an identical strap on one of Casio's which was a little stiff to begin with which in time gave a little and mouldered to wrist. Great purchase very pleased with watch.

This follows typical 'field watch' design and style, but in a larger size than more traditional field watches.The Good bits:It's build is solid and robust with a good quality brushed finish.The watch has a good solid bit of 'heft' to it and although it's rather thick it wears well on my 7.5 inch wrist.It's a very comfortable to wear watch with perfectly angled down lugs, so it wraps around the wrist well with no 'wobble' associated with straight lugs.The lume also turned out better than expected. I've learnt to not take the innital brightness as an indication of how good the lume is, as some of the brightest lumes are the quickest to fade.This one lasted ALL night - even at 6am it was easy to see in total darkness. I've got watches with C3 superluminova and BGW9 that don't last more than an hour, even my G-Shock GA2100 lasts ALL night, yet many reviewers said it has poor lume (definitely NOT) - How LONG lume lasts is good lume, not how bright it gets and this Citizen's lume works as you'd want it to.The 'not so good':......Uh....nothing....apart from the strap - which I don't like at all, it's too stiff and will collect sweat and dirt too much, so it's staying in the box. I immediately replaced it with a VERY soft and comfortable FKM rubber strap and it feels MUCH better for it.My only 'minor' complaint is that it's a shame the lens isn't sapphire as much cheaper watches are now found with a sapphire lens with similar specs and quality for quite a bit less, though you WON'T get the same manufacturers guarantee that you do with Citizen, so I can't complain too much.Overall this is an awesome field watch of exceptional quality for the money and I must admit that I am extremely happy with it.

I needed a watch that would indicate the time through the night and this is excellent in the respect, the luminosity, brightly lasting well in excess of 12 hours. I also find it extremely comfortable to wear, the strap is rugged yet compliant, its a large watch but I'm never conscious of wearing it. Needless to say its accurate, two or three seconds a week. My only criticism is the size of the date aperture, which is so small that it's actually smaller than the date numerals, making it difficult to read, especially in poor light.

This is a very good looking watch, very accurate, i just put it in the sun for a couple hrs from time to time and its been fine, its a nice size for my wrist and a good weight, it feels very solid and well built.

Great watch, highly eligible apart from when the sun goes down! Sadly there’s very littleTo no lume on the hands which makes this a summer watch and us next to unreadle when it’s dark/ dusk! Apart front that it’s great! Solid and looksGood, and eco drives the best ever! Whack a day and date and a decent lum and the watch’s perfect for me

Une réussite dans une gamme de prix (très) raisonnable. La qualité de l'acier pour le boitier et ses finitions polies brossées sont bluffantes, et ne se trouvent que sur des montres beaucoup plus chères. Enfin le mouvement Eco-Drive est vraiment top en matière de précision et d'agrément, pas de changement de pile.Le bracelet quant à lui à l'air assez solide et donne un côté baroudeur à la pièce, la boucle est signée Citizen, pas la couronne.

Mi levo subito il dente con la cosa che mi ha contrariato: l' orologio che mi è arrivato non è "nuovo" nel vero e proprio senso del termine. Scatola e controscatola evidentemente aperte e richiuse più volte, mancanza di pellicole protettive vetro e cassa, corona tirata al secondo scatto con macchina bloccata (e mi ha preso un accidente nel vedere la lancetta dei secondi ferma appena tirato fuori dalla scatola) e generici segni di ditate su ogni parte liscia dell' orologio. Sicuramente non è stato mai indossato perchè si vedrebbe, sembra più un pezzo che ha passato un po' di tempo esposto in vetrina e poi reinscatolato e venduto.Fastidioso, ma non sono il tipo da "questioni di principio", mi piace e me lo tengo. Però credo che questa cosa sia almeno da segnalare: sono quei piccoli particolari che "rosicchiano" un pezzettino di fiducia in Bolo ogni volta che accadono, niente di terribile, ma sarebbe meglio di no.Detto questo, veniamo all' orologio in se'. La bellezza fa parte della sfera soggettiva, posso dire che a me piace molto (beh, di solito non compro cose che non mi piacciono): ho scelto la versione nera con cinturino in nylon nero perchè mi piaceva la colorazione un po' "vintage" dei numeri (che invece nella versione blu sono bianchi sparati). Il disegno del quadrante nel suo complesso è equilibrato e gradevolissimo, come pure la bordatura in rosso della lancetta dei minuti. A voler essere proprio pignoli la scritta "CITIZEN" a ore 12 strilla un po' troppo mentre le cifre del datario parlano troppo a bassa voce (nel senso che sono praticamente illeggibili per quanto sono piccole, almeno per me): però alla fine difficilmente uso l' orologio per sapere che giorno è, mi basta sapere l'ora e quella si vede anche a 5 metri di distanza.Pesante il giusto, la cassa è massiccia e spessa (non adattissima a polsi piccoli). Il cinturino è un po' rigido ma gli darò il tempo di adattarsi un po': i buchi sono tanti e ravvicinati (carina l'idea di rinforzarli con degli occhielli in acciaio) e si trova facilmente la lunghezza "giusta".Bellissimo a mio avviso l'effetto creato dall' anello esterno con gli indici dei minuti (che poi è il "pannello solare" dell' orologio), leggermente concavo verso l' interno del quadrante: crea un "movimento" nella struttura che dà importanza all' orologio (un quadrante così ampio se fosse stato completamente piatto avrebbe fatto l'effetto "padellone").Non ho dati relativi all' uso vero e proprio (arrivato ed indossato solo oggi) ma per quelli mi fido di quanto letto in giro: questo di Citizen è un movimento talmente collaudato che - a meno di vizi di fabbrica - non dovrebbe dare soprese. Farò tutti i miei "test" e se necessario aggiornerò la recensione, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la precisione e la resistenza all' acqua.Essendo al quarzo e dotato di lancetta dei secondi temevo l' effetto "Swatch", cioè il "tic-tic" della lancetta che di notte si sente pure se lo chiudi nel cassetto: devo dire che da questo lato sono felicissimo perchè non si sente assolutamente niente (per me è importante perchè con l'orologio ci dormo).Altra cosa importante per cui mi sono fidato delle recensioni (e sulla quale dovrò necessariamente tornare dopo il "collaudo") è la luminescenza: da quanto leggo dovrebbe durare almeno 6-7 ore e spero vivamente sia così. Per quello che ho visto con un breve test, c'è e promette bene: lancette e quattro indici ai punti cardinali brillano di un bell' azzurro (non verde) e fanno capire l' ora a colpo d'occhio. La luminosità è sufficiente ma non "sparata" tipo neon, questo mi fa sperare in una lunga durata, diversamente da altri tipi di luminescenza che all' inizio ti illuminano la stanza e dopo cinque minuti fai già fatica a vederli: l' ora al buio la devo vedere io, non chi mi sta vicino...In conclusione, con nemmeno 130 Euro (che non sono bruscolini, ma nemmeno serve un mutuo) abbiamo un orologio onesto, leggibile, robusto e bello a vedersi. Che non richiede cambi di batteria e che promette di essere preciso quanto basta. Un bel gingillo da tutti i giorni che volendo può anche risultare "elegante": tanto in un' epoca dove vanno bene le scarpe da ginnastica sotto una giacca, l'eleganza è un concetto molto aperto...

nach unzähligen uhren die ich immer beim discounter gekauft habe und die immer irgendwie nach dem batteriewechsel nicht mehr zuverlässig funktioniert haben, hab ich mir mal eine ordentliche uhr gegönnt.das erste was mir aufgefallen ist, ist das diese uhr deutlich schwerer ist als meine "platikuhren". das war im ersten moment verstörend aber daran hab ich mich sofort gewöhnt.die uhr geht sehr genau, mir gefällt sie auch recht gut. sie war im preis vernünftig.das einzige was ich jetzt noch nicht beurteilen kann wie lange die uhr jetzt ohne probleme ihren dienst tut. da ich aber gelesen hab das citizen sehr gute qualität liefert bin ich hoffnungsfroh.

Bardzo czytelna kontrastowa tarcza, w nocy świetny glow, nie znika po 5 minutach, spokojnie nad ranem czytelny. Parciany pasek solidny i bardzo pasuje do tego zegarka.
