5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use and accurate
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I got this to record daily exercise. I bought it because it is Omron who make a lot of kit for hospitals and I already have a number of their products which are good. This arrived quickly and was easy to set up with time, weight, height and stride length.Getting the stride length right, on pedometers, is always difficult, so I set mine approximately and then downloaded an App which measures distance by GPS which I used to gradually make adjustments until the distance was reasonably reliable. The actual distance on these items is always a bit hit and miss since one rarely does a uniform stride length, that said, I now have it showing within 0.1 of a mile against the GPS tracker over 3 to 5 miles. This item is easy to use and read. It resets at midnight and works automatically; you can also set it for an individual walk. It comes with a nice sturdy clip and strap so you can clip it to your pocket and leave inside. If you are looking for a pedometer you could do a lot worse. It is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and I would definitely recommend this item.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
Great no nonsense pedometer, slip in a pocket and go anywhere , a quality item.
4.0 out of 5 stars Stepper
A good size stepper that will fit in your pocket easily. It's pretty accurate and easy to use. It just tracks steps nothing else.
5.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for.
Make no mistake, this is a quality product, which I have had for a few weeks now (it cost around £23 when I bought it). I’ve had cheaper pedometers before, but they never seemed to last, and to keep on replacing like for like is a false economy. I’ve had mental health issues and have mainly been in a bit of a rut for the last few years, and my physical health has suffered too.As soon as I saw this particular make and model on here, and read the mainly positive reviews, I decided to take a chance, and a few weeks on, I’m so glad that I did. It’s fairly straightforward to set up, then just slip it in your pocket or preferred option and you’re good to go.I’m writing this review off the back of setting a new personal best (almost 13,000 steps in 1 hour 44 minutes), and look forward to clocking up plenty more miles/kilometres with this little beauty. Omron are a leading UK maker of healthcare equipment, and the build quality of this pedometer certainly does not detract from their reputation.
3.0 out of 5 stars This has to be tried and I have not done this
It is a puzzle to follow the instruction sheet as it is multi lingual
5.0 out of 5 stars Would recommend.
It's great. I accidentally threw it into washing machine. It went through the whole cycle on 60 degrees and works just fine. It counted 1758 steps :D Super happy with the purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and simple way of monitoring walking exercise
I love the simplicity of design and use and ease of clipping the device to the edge of my trouser pocket to place into the pocket for the day. I wanted to keep track of my walking without the need for a band to replace a watch or in addition to a watch, and based on some research, positioning a pedometer on a leg should be more accurate than on a wrist. When I walked 10,000 steps, a small person icon jumped up and down with joy - very cute. I have no need for a device connected to an app, and the battery should last a very long time compared to wrist-worn devices. The price was very reasonable - I didn’t want to spend a lot. It’s a good brand of medical monitoring devices so I decided it would be the best choice for me compared to cheaper makes.
1.0 out of 5 stars Nowhere as good as the Walking Style II
I agree entirely with the comment by Chris ap AlfredMy Walking Style II worked for many years but the button for reference back to 7 previous day's results ceased to work although it does allow resetting of the device! I bought a IV. I have the two working side by side. The two devices show over 100% difference in readings for steps with almost zero for the three other measurements. Reference across to my wife's Fitbit shows the IV to be way off accuracy.Chris ap Alfred1.0 out of 5 stars Lousy algorithmReviewed in the United Kingdom on 10 November 2020Colour Name: BlackVerified PurchaseThis is a good example of how misguided product development can ruin a perfectly acceptable device. The Walking Style II did all the necessaries, counted every step. You can't get it any more. So when mine cooked, it was the IV. This little beast doesn't count every step, it decides which it will count. Walk a bit slowly, or up and down stairs, and it won't register the steps. Short bursts up to 10 steps are ignored, too. This algorithm could have been built in as an option, but no. The text font for setting up is miniscule. Doesn't match my needs at all.
Es macht wieder Spaß Sport zu treiben. Danke

Accurate, tiny, weightless pedometer
An accurate tiny, superlight Pedometer. Easy to use. No real instructions, on-line instructions for multiple similar models not always relevant. For me, main thing was to get the stride right. I'm over 6' tall, and initially kept the standard 32" stride it was set for. Got real and admitted my stride was actually about 27". My morning walk went from 2.1 miles to 1.9 miles, LOL! I deleted my basic health app on my iphone that was reporting my identical daily route with variances of more than a quarter mile for each identical walk. This so is small, un-noticeable in the pocket.
Werkt prima
Geen mobiel meer mee of fitbit, bij het lopen als je alleen je stappen wil tellen Super handig, klein en de km. en tijd wordt aangegeven.
