After doing some research , I decided on the Reshow walkman and I was not disappointed. It is of simple yet excellent build quality, and works equally well with the provided cable or with batteries (though I prefer the cable). The reverse play function, which was most important for me, works perfectly. It is very lightweigh, so easy and comfortable to carry with you in your pocket, even when jogging. Finally the customer service from Reshow is very good indeed. Quick clear communication and very helpful. If you're looking for a good value walkman, I highly recommend this excellent one from Reshow.

Works well if a little basic. Useful to be able to play old cassettes. As others have mentioned the plastic finish looks cheap and a bit brittle. Then again not buying this for it's looks and for £20 unreasonable to expect higher quality.

With this great little product, I’ve been able to digitise all my old mixtapes that have been sitting, gathering dust, in my loft for decades. Sound quality is absolutely fine for my needs but what I did notice is that if the volume dial on the side of the device isn’t turned up to maximum, the recording is transferred quieter. So make sure it’s turned up full!The door to the device is a little flimsy so care would be advised when opening and shutting. Gentle hands, yeah.All in all a good little device that has brought me hours of nostalgia fun as I haven’t owned a tape deck in decades.

I bought this to transfer some spoken word audio tapes onto my computer, for digital archiving and the future. It does indeed appear as a sound device on both PC and Mac and Audacity or similar can be used to record from a playing tape.So far so good. Unfortunately, the mechanism isn't as precise as tape decks back in the day, so there's noticeable wow and flutter, plus the speed is about 5% too fast. So everyone's voices are a bit too high! There's also quite a bit of digital noise.Happily, Audacity or similar (open source software) makes it trivial to adjust the pitch and reduce the noise. So I achieved my objective. Just be aware that this is a cheap bit of kit and don't expect to use it for transferring music of any importance!

It is not good, I’ve tried 4 different tapes and the recordings are all patchy and mostly only vocals no music. I’m going to send it back as it does not do what it says. It was cheap but it doesn’t work.

I was skeptical based on reviews read prior to purchasing. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use and quality of the cassette converter. The device comes with a USB connector and headphones. The only downside is that the headphones are a really cheap quality, but that didn't make a difference to me as I don't plan to use them. The instruction book comes with steps for using PC or MAC for converting. Directions were simple and easy to follow. Battery life is dependent on batteries or USB plug in. You can use this device for either listening or converting to digital format. Converting to digital format is a lengthy process as you have to listen to the entirety of the song when creating the digital file. The overall functionality of this device is great! I was able to convert a cassette from 1982 and the sound quality wasn't too bad! I recommend this product.

Działa dobrze, po zainstalowaniu aplikacji muzyka z kasety jest już na telefonie. Co prawda jakość z kasety to nie czego oczekujemy ale czego nie zrobimy dla miłych wspomnień. Polecam.
