I have wanted a ping pong table for some time but space has always been a problem! With the weather in the UK an outside table wouldn’t get used much so was also not an option.I came across this table and it met my needs entirely. Fits my table near perfectly and can be taken apart to aid storage. Due to the texture of my dining room table, a simple retractable net would not work well for me.Having played numerous games with it, the surface is great. I was worried about the quality of the net but it is nice and taut and does the job well.As a summary:> Great stable surface.> Good quality net.> Complete set means you have all that you need to get playing.> Nice that you can split it into 2 to store it easily when not in use.Cons:> It is fairly expensive for what it is, but I am very pleased with the product so I am happy to pay the price.> It can be difficult to fit the plastic net brackets.> The bat and balls are fairly low quality - if you are planning on playing a lot I would advise investing in some higher quality paddles and 3 star balls.I have attached photos showing the set that comes with the table and a ProSpin paddle I bought for comparison. Note the difference in rubber and foam density and overall quality.Overall, I am very pleased with this set.To note: The package it was delivered in was very sturdy with extra cardboard side protectors. However, the box looked like it had been kicked to my front door! As such, there was some superficial damage to 2 of the corners, but considering the cost and hassle of a replacement, I can live with this.If you found this review helpful, please let me know. Wow! We LOVE this table tennis set!!! It is great quality, arrived quickly and in perfect condition (packaged very well) and is a great size for all ages to play on. We have so much fun playing, not sure it's ever going to be taken off the dining table!!!!!!!!! But, if we ever do, it's easy to do - the two halves just need to be pulled apart. The bats and balls provided with the set are perfectly adequate, however we do prefer to use our own better quality ones. If you're thinking of buying one of these, just do it - you won't be disappointed!

We have been using this on an oval table and it has worked well and been great fun.The bats are basic but ok for simple games but the balls are useless, they were unevenly weighted so didn’t bounce straight but easily replaced.A couple of l things could make this much better. The option of hinges could help some with easier storage.Or some sort of protection for one edge of the table so they don’t get scuffed of chipped storing them against the ground.

Amazing table , great size , easy to connect and flip over to use for dinning table when you've finished table tennis. Awesome , for the price , the size , the quality , there's nothing out there that beats it. Peace

Fantastic little table.Big enough for teens and adults to have a good game on, even with the bats and balls supplied.I noted the reviews and bought some Good Grip - stops stuff slipping stuff (local hardwear store)to go underneath, and a length of 1cm wide, sticky back velcro (Ebay) to hold the two halves together.Still trying to think of somewhere to store it.

Table top is 2 solid pieces of wood, good quality. No means to join but don’t really need to. Bats are adequate for general play but if want to play properly will need to invest in proper bats. Net posts are a bit flimsy and one was snapped but they sent a replacement immediately with no issues. Overall great quality for a space saving table.

Update: I received a phone call from Viavito stating that there must have been a production error with the table top I was sent. They offered me either another table or a full refund. Added one star due to the excellent customer service and very helpful guy that I spoke to.--------------The biggest and most significant let down of this table is the way the two pieces connect. It's beyond terrible. The two pieces have three small metal connectors (about an inch long) that connect each half. The problem is three-fold:- The connectors are far too short to have any kind of significant grip on the two halves- The holes are too big, meaning if you push the connectors too far into the holes, you're done for- Because of the weight of the table, pushing one half into the other is a nightmare.My recommendation would be to look at other tables with more elegant solutions to connecting the pieces, as this seems an integral part of the product.
