It mostly does the job. Takes a few rounds of cleaning to get any thorough result, but it does leave the retainers refreshed after every use.

My retainers still had some lingering foul smell with it, which other brands could eliminate. i tested this a few times to be sure.

CPAP reservoir & dentures !

I use the effort in for something that they don’t advertise. I use a CPAP machine and with it a humidifier container that has to be cleaned. So after a few days use, I throw into effort tablets let them buzz away in the next day. I clean out the reservoir.
