5.0 out of 5 stars TENS pain relief.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Good price for pain relief and worth buying the extra pack of pads. Works well. I will use this seller again and I recommend the seller.
5.0 out of 5 stars Needs effort to find the right settings - but effective pain relief is worth it
I've had this machine for a number of months now, and didn't want to review this until I had the chance to use it for a while.I saw a number of options for TENS machines when I was looking to purchase, and they started off cheap and went very high. This is my first foray into the TENS world and so I thought I'd start off with something a little simple, not too expensive in case it didn't work, and if it did work I could always experiment with other models later. This model has served me well, it comes with a nice carry case, some sticky pads which conduct the electricity, and the wires required to operate it. It also comes with a handy picture chart for placement of the pads depending on the location of the pain.I do believe that there could have been a little bit more of a comprehensive chart with recommended settings, it is all a bit complicated and a bit of Googling and Youtubing is needed in order to get the most out of the machine. Everybody is different and personal preference does have a part to play in this, but some basic settings to start with would be a good idea rather than being thrown into the deep end. That is my only criticism of this machine. It works extremely well for both acute and chronic pain, and the purpose this was bought for was to treat the effects of chronic pain from rheumatoid arthritis. Using this daily has made a lot of difference to the feeling of pain and has allowed the use of pharmaceuticals to be reduced significantly which is always a good thing. If this doesn't seem to be working for you, I'd say persevere first and foremost and look into what settings work for you, maybe some will be absolutely useless and others will work wonders. Here's a quick list to save you Googling like I did:Set the frequency to: 80 to 120Hz- acute pain, 35-50Hz-muscle stimulation, 2 to 10Hz – chronic painSet the pulse width to between 175-200Placement is important - you've got 2 channels and 4 pads - so 2 pads on each channel. Do check out youtube videos and pictures online to have a look at appropriate placement depending on areas of pain.My main advice would be first and foremost this is all you need to start with, and secondly to keep experimenting and trying. The science behind this is there and although there's nothing in this world that works for everybody, I do believe with enough experimenting and tinkering, you can find relief from various different types of pain with this machine, it is definitely worth a try.
4.0 out of 5 stars Budget buy ~ adequate
This is quite light and flimsy, nowhere as solid as my old one which is worrying but the flap down to access the controls and battery port is a God send, so easy to access and not a finger nail snapped!!! However the pads are quite small and there are only 4 of them. It is light and portable in a wipe clean sturdy waterproof bag with pockets inside to keep the wires separate from the rest of equipment. This box design with leads is far superior to the model that pops onto fasters in situ as sitting down allowed the settings to be altered needing constant adjustment or standing up if I was using it on my back! All in all a working budget buy for an occasional user.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great little machine
This is my second one of this make used my last one for at least 5 years passed it on to friend who need help.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well despite the low price
I’ve only had this unit for a few days but it’s been great for my sciatica pain. As another reviewer says it is necessary to experiment with settings and that reviewer gave suggestions for which settings to start from which I used as my starting point. After some experimenting I found that the shown on the photo I have attached worked best for my acute sciatica pain but everybody is different. It’s good to have two sets of electrodes so that you can apply the treatment to two different areas at the same time which is ideal for sciatica when the pain is in the side of my back and down my leg as well.As other reviews have noted probably not the most robust of units but I think it will be ok for my needs and I wouldn’t have wanted oto spend 2 or 3 times the price on a first TENS unit only to find that TENS treatment wasn’t for me.
3.0 out of 5 stars Good WHEN It Works.
Straightforward to use however there are no recommended settings for different medical issues so you just have to tinker. The machine does work on my bad back and hips but unfortunately I've had to return my first one a couple of the electrodes sometimes don't work,I've tried the different in puts on the top and sometimes they work and other times don't. I've just received a replacement so hope this won't suffer from the same problem
5.0 out of 5 stars It works!
It came yesterday and my back was really hurting, I put it together just the two pads stuck them on my back and switched it on , to my relief the pain was actually calmed down alot, I highly recommend this product!

Klein Handlich und Dauerbetrieb möglich
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Nach vielen Bandscheibenvorfällen im Lendenwirbel und Nackenwirbelbereich, vielen Ischiasschmerzen (Hexenschüssen) und öfters auftretenden Muskelkrämpfen bin ich schon vor Jahrzehnten auf die Tensgeräte aufmerksam geworden.
