My dog loves this blend , has went up in price but still great quality and consistency. Seems to offer good nutritional value as she has a bright shiny coat.

Both my Great Danes have been on this food since they were baby’s,As Danes suffer with bloat and need a lot of calories due to how fast they grow and can also suffer with bad stomachs I wanted a brand of food that would help them grow well and give them all they needed but not cost me the earth or give them a upset stomach - this has worked for all .I go through at the moment 3or4 14kg bags a month or every 4 weeks with them.They look great have a lovely coat and both of them absolutely love dinner time .I would recommend this food and I have never had any problems with it it has helped my Dane’s and they never have bad stools always good,It’s a great food to soak and doesn’t take long to absorb boiled water .A good sized biscuit for the larger breeds with no choking on biscuits that are to small,The smell really doesn’t bother me it’s not any different it smells a little stronger when soaked but nothing that is unpleasant or unbearable just your normal dog food smell,Have been using beta for many years with other breeds before my Dane’s and never had a problem with it we like to add meat but even as a dry biscuit with a little water it’s great.I like to hunt around for price as depending on Bolo prices they can fluctuate a lot which is a little irritating,But happy dogs happy owners .

Having a large dog means having to buy large amounts of food.So it’s handy for me that I can buy it in 14kg bags and have it delivered to my door, especially when the price is reasonable.Being an all in one is also important for me as my dog has several digestive issues and let’s just say that a large dog with an upset stomach is never a fun thing to have to deal with at 3:30am.Luckily dry food seems to keep him settled and since this is a full meal I don’t need to worry that he’s missing out on vital things.I occasionally mix it with meat, if he’s having a good day, however it’s a safe go to for knowing I can leave this down for him and let him eat it at his leisure without it going off or turning rancid in warm weather.Due to the size of them they are aimed at large breeds as smaller ones may struggle with these. They are probably in the region of a 10 pence piece.This is also a plus for me because they are large flat biscuits, when I step on them in the dark with bare feet, it’s not like standing on Lego. Ideally I’d like not to stand on them at all but sadly my hound has yet to master the art of eating with his mouth shut or not walking round the house eating thinking he’s missing something important going on elsewhere. They blend in to our brown kitchen floor and, well, there’s been several Hail Mary’s in our house to account for the amount of profanity that spews forth from my mouth when I stand on half-eaten dog food.If these get wet they expand and go soggy, which isn’t an issue provided your dog has plenty of water to drink whist eating and also if they get dropped outside, as they wash away in the rain etc. But they are rather unpleasant if stood on with bare feet at 2:30am when going to the fridge as you suddenly jolt wide awake and begin preying that the cold wet thing squelching between your toes is indeed a wet biscuit and not something the cat bought in/up.

My eldest border collie has been struggling recently with digesting food and started to vomit after every meal he ate. The vets couldn't diagnose any underlying condition and put it down to a sensitive stomach. I've been looking into the most affordable solution which also provides a good level of nutrition. After coming across this 14kg bag I decided to give him a go with it and so far no vomiting! Been educating myself more on dog food and most of the generic brands in the shops that say 'with chicken/beef' only have about 4% of meat, the rest is flavouring and additives etc. This brand has a higher level of salmon at 17% plus a high level of rice which is so much more than the generic brands. Have noticed a huge difference in my dogs behaviour. He loves eating this dry food and no vomitting, therefore he's keeping his food down and gaining weight again. My only negative would be that the packaging could be made to be more airtight once opening, to prevent loss of moisture in the food. I have now setup a subscription for this food bag and would recommend to anybody who's got a dog struggling to keep their food down. Please remember to check with a vet first though to confirm if there's any underlying health concerns.

Great food dogs have solid poops which is what all dog owners want to here, they seem the have good energy on it & seem full too. Coats are shiny and healthy biscuit shape and size also good!
