When the bag arrived, I realised just how many 500g is, and it's a great big bag full! Way more than I imagined, especially as I am more used to buying little 12g Swartz spice jars!So excellent value then, providing I use enough of them before they have lost all their pungency. As to the quality, they are great. They have a real tang to them and are surprisingly hot. I have ground up maybe a quarter of the bag to use as chilli flakes for pizzas etc, and they are much more spicy then the usual Kashmiri chillies which make up most normal chilli flakes. They also have that unique almost sour flavour, which is very nice indeed.Overall, highly recommended. Just make sure you aren't buying too many! Of course you can always donate some the neighbours ;-)

I just bought these again, twice as much, I know they're good, hot 'enough', and great value. I use a lot. Grinding a little releases the heat, and flavour.

Perfect birds eye chillis, very good price and a good brand.Essential in all my Indian cooking.Funny to think that not that long ago these fairly mild little chillis were in the Guiness records as the Worlds hottest!Well packed, good seller.Recommended for all heat lovers.
