These were bought as backup for a holiday in costa rica but they quickly became our main source of water purification after our water purifier broke. They worked perfectly and so easy to use too.I didn't notice any change in taste or colour.They came in a small box with tablet sachets so were easy to transport and carry around with you.Good value for money and a life saver on holiday.

Well, I haven’t become ill after drinking very clean-looking water from dubious sources. After adding a tablet and leaving for half an hour.Of course, that could be just down to luck. I’m impressed with the lack of taste.

Always take these abroad as a "just in case" item as you never know in high temperatures whether the water is OK for drinking.

Indispensabili per la sicurezza
Le porto sempre i miei trekk. Qui in Sardegna spesso c'è poca acqua e' molto caldo, quindi a volte ti dovresti accontentare di quello che trovi. La sicurezza di poter disinfettare l'acqua é molto tranquillizzante per lunghe escursioni. È capitato più di una volta che alcune persone si siano perse qui in Sardegna siano rimaste senz'acqua e qualcuno è anche morto. Il sapore che lasciano effettivamente non è buonissimo senti un pochino il sapore di varecchina ma secondo me hanno un vantaggio essenziale rispetto alle classiche cannucce per filtrare l'acqua: con quelle sei costretto a bere l'acqua dove la trovi e non te la puoi portare via, con queste pastiglie prendere quanta acqua vuoi, disinfettarla e ti puoi continuare a spostare. 1 pastiglia, 1 litro, mezz'ora
