I've been struggling all my life with the mere thought of brushing my teeth, because mint makes my mouth feel sharp and sore (why yes, I am autistic, how'd you guess?). Since this tastes like a chocolatey cookie, it feels soft and pleasant in my mouth, and I've even enjoyed brushing morning and night since I got it. Absolute lifesaver, makes the day start so much better.

Bought for granddaughter wouldn’t brush teeth with minty toothpaste.Brushes day and night now as tastes like chocolate! Love it.

I ordered this in sheer desperation as my 11 year old autistic son hates brushing his teeth with a passion, he detests the sensation and I have tried lots of toothpastes and was sick of the constant battle.This toothpaste is amazing, after the usual battle to get it to his mouth, it’s the first time I have seen him smile and not kick off while brushing.He loves the taste, and says it’s doesn’t make his mouth feel funny. He now actively brushes his teeth himself. So although expensive, it’s a big tube and worth its weight in gold!Only negative is the cap. It easily cracks which os frustrating. If they improved this it would be 5***

It’s a novelty! Nice packaging I guess. My son didn’t like the taste so he gave it to his friend and he loves it. It’s a bit of fun as a gift.

i bought this agian for the second time to use as a healthy option that is floride free also cos my kid is refusing to brush her teeth with other flavours. in wanting to go safe i bought this. however it has one of the 4 bad ingredients if you are looking for natural alternatives. it has Titanium dioxide. most tooth paste has this used to make it a white looking tooth paste. but really this product doesnt need it- i would like them to rid of this..Titanium dioxide nanoparticles are able to penetrate into your gums and have toxic reactions in your brain and cause nerve damage. It's also possibly carcinogenic to humans, which means it has the potential to cause cancer.would i pay £24 for this again no? ill use it cos i have no choice but maybe be on the hunt for another that is actually vegan- sls free(Sodium lauryl sulfate) , titanium Dioxide free, flouride free, Carrageenan

Pros:I thought it tasted sweet and yummy! My 11 year old and 9 year old boys thought it tasted delicious, too.Floride-free!Doesn't foam much at all, which only means it doesn't contain an ingredient that creates foam, which I like :).You pull the lid off straight off. My son thought the lid was easy to remove compared to opening other toothpaste lids he's had to open.Cons:I don't like the lid. It is very thin plastic and doesn't stand on end, which means I have to store the toothpaste on its side. The lid is so thin, I wouldn't be surprised if it cracked in the future.Final Thoughts:I think this toothpaste tastes really good and is a nice change to the ho-hum of brushing, so I would recommend at least trying it once despite the high price. My boys are excited to use it, which makes me feel like they will actually use toothpaste instead of just "telling" me they used toothpaste ;).I do agree with other reviewers that my teeth "feel" different than when I use my other toothpaste, but my teeth still feel clean. Just not the same kind of clean (probably due to different ingredients in different toothpastes). I just started using this toothpaste, so I don't know if it whitens, or if it will help remineralize my teeth (trying to heal cavities in-between my teeth). I'm going to switch back and forth daily between this toothpaste, and another toothpaste I like called "Cali White." I don't think I was exclusively using Cali White at my last dental appointment (so it's not Cali White's fault that I have cavities), but I'm not sure Cali White has any ingredients that help rebuild tooth enamel, so if my cavities have shrunk at my next dental appointment, I'm going to credit it to the Theodent toothpaste. My next appointment isn't until May, so I will update then :).Update: I now use a toothpaste called Apagard Premio to remineralize my teeth. I also use BITE toothpaste capsules. Both have the same ingredient to remineralize teeth. The chocolate toothpaste is still fun if you have a reluctant brusher.
Different packaging but still amazing
As an autistic person I was a bit sad that the design of the tube wasn't the same as shown in the pictures BUT apart from that I am simply greatful that this product exist since I've struggled my whole life with regularly brushing my teeth due to the my disabilities and mental illnesses and having a toothpaste that DOESN'T taste like mint really helps and I'm currently even looking forward to brushing my teeth.Thank you Theodent!
