I bought this for creative photography, mainly flowers and I am more than happy with it. It has different brightness settings which is really helpful. Its light weight and nice and slim. Overall a decent tablet for what I will be using it for

This is a great piece of kit. It’s large, has adjustable brightness, and of course comes with a charging pack. You can’t use it without it being plugged in (common, but I just wasn’t aware this would be one of those types - no big deal, just a shame I can’t charge it up and take it with me) - works very well on all thickness of paper and is easy to clean if anything gets on there. Doesn’t heat up like crazy and is overall a pleasure to use.

I am really pleased with the quality of this light box and the fact that the level of light can be easily adjusted by pressing the power button, although in its brightest state it would be difficult to see what you were doing.The unit is very well made and provides an even distribution of light across the entire surface of the panel. A ruled edge is marked on the panel for alignment purposes.I bought this for my daughter who is studying animation at university and it is just perfect for her needs. Although large, it is not too heavy and the power supply sits out of the way of the top, left hand side of the display. If I have one criticism it is the fact that the power lead is quite short but that can be overcome by us we of an extension lead.The panel could benefit from some means to raise it into a more comfortable drawing angle and I have bought a separate writing slope to achieve this end which makes it more comfortable to use. Huron make another model which includes a means to raise its height with the use of small feet, so this may well be worth a look.Overall, I am pleased with the quality of the panel, its low weight and even light source and I can forgive the few relatively small problems associated with it.

Not the cheapest but well made. Easy to set up and use. Cable has attached plug, disconnects from light box for storage. I've just taken up watercolour painting. I asked my tutor, a professional artist, if a light box would be a good purchase. He recommended this one as it's the one he uses & another student in our small group has the same one. Looking forward to producing some masterpieces now I've got this

Love it, A3 size which works well for me and my sketching, the light is more than bright enough. Looks pretty cool when lit up.

A great product! After seeing the competitors had the AC jack in the BACK of the board (ludicrous in my opinion!) This board just had to be the one, it was more expensive but well worth it! The light distribution is very even and bright too so I can see every little detail. It is very thin so slides right onto my drawing easel, very good quality indeed.

I do quite a bit of art and craft work and would be lost without a light box. I had an A4 one last time but it gave up the ghost so I decided to go for an A3 this time. It’s so slim! It’s touch controls are very responsive and the brightest setting is very bright indeed. The free clip won’t get used by me but a nice touch nevertheless. Overall this light pad is very good value for money

I took a while before I wrote this review (I don't write many reviews - only ones that really excel or crap-out). I am hole-heartedly impressed with this. At nearly half the price as the similar sized one from Art O'Graph, much thinner, way brighter, yadda, yadda, yadda, you can't go wrong with this one. It doesn't have the aluminum frame so it can be thinner than a pencil. It has uniform lighting and ALSO HAS A DIMMER!!! It is a touch-dimmer, so it can be dropped so you can adjust to get the right amount of toplight. the 23.5" can support a 11"x17" with room at the bottom for your wrist/palm (nice, so your hand doesn't feel like it's falling off a cliff). This thing gets bright enough to shine thru 2 pieces of 2-ply Bristol and still be bright. The ONLY complaint that i'd have is there is no off switch, so I simply unplug it. It's light enough to swap off of my drawing board, but thin enough to not have to take it off than much. The Art O'Graph has a bit of a lip around the frame; this one doesn't. The face is a flat piece of acrylic, so rulers won't be problems. You can even use a T-Square on it (like the C-Thru JR18. Take the Nestea plunge and just buy one!

J'ai acheté cette table lumineuse pour l'offrir à mon copain à noël il y a déjà 2 ans!Il l'utilise au quotidien pour dessiner (il est tatoueur) et elle n'a jamais présenté aucun soucis de fonctionnement.La possibilité de régler la luminosité est très pratique pour ne pas se faire mal aux yeux.La table lumineuse a été livrée avec un adaptateur pour les prises françaises et était très bien emballée (heureusement car elle est en verre!).Elle est vraiment très belle et super plate, très pratique! Je pense que je vais en racheter une autre pour moi même.Le prix défi toute concurrence, je recommande à 100%, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés :)

I've had this light pad for less than a month, and I'm very impressed so far. I purchased this product for easier transfer of drawings to anything from acetate to watercolour paper (works well for 140lb; I haven't tried 300lb as yet). It's very helpful that the brightness level is adjustable, and even while working on it at full power for a couple of hours, the light didn't irritate my eyes (mind you, the watercolour paper was covering the entire lit surface, so the light was diffused completely).A couple of things to be aware of, that I do not recall reading in other reviews:Despite its thinness, the build of this unit is quite skookum, and I have not detected any hot spots in the lit area. However, once while working on a large vertical piece, I raised the top end a bit for easier access/comfort by placing two large, wide round corks (2 1/2"W, 1 1/2"H) under each corner. During this exercise I became aware of some heat emitting under the black border area, something I wouldn't have discovered while the pad was laid flat. I also learned to respect its limits, as I detected a slight spring if I put too much pressure/weight on the elevated pad. So I wouldn't recommend using this light pad on a heat sensitive surface like a formal dining table, and if you need to raise it on an angle, be aware of how much stress you are putting on it.Those observations aside, this product works as claimed, and perfectly for my purposes. The bonus upon receiving this product was the 6'+ long cord that came with it! Many past reviewers had complained about the ridiculously short cord (2' or less), so I'm guessing Huion took heed of their cries.April 19/17 - See comment for further info.

Ligera, muy brillante y de gran respuesta. La recomendaría mucho, especialmente mientras el siguiente modelo más grande no baje un poco de precio. El espacio de la pantalla es más grande de A3, lo que permite trabajar muy cómodamente. Una gran compra.Como detalles que yo mejoraría: cable de alimentación más largo porque es muy, muy corto. El enchufe no es apto para nuestro país pero ya viene con un adaptador de calidad, así que no hay problema. Un botón de bloqueo del interruptor no estaría mal porque el botón de encendido es tan sensible que hasta que no te acostumbras lo tocas a menudo sin darte cuenta y te apaga o varía la intensidad de la luz.Pero en general, creo que es un muy buen producto a un precio interesante, cuando el siguiente modelo vale más del doble.
