Today, our making process have changed very little and although Barbara retired more than 11 years ago, her spirit and passion for creating beautiful handcrafted chocolates using the best quality ingredients still runs through the heart of everything at Holdsworth Chocolates.

Great care is taken during the making of each chocolate, therefore it is very important to continue this with process through the packing stage all completed by hand into a range of beautifully designed boxes that make lovely gifts.

At the same time we believe that it is vital to support a sustainable global chocolate industry, by acting with a social conscience around our commercial decisions wherever possible, especially with global demand for chocolate continuing to grow year on year.
Belcolade, are our preferred chocolate processor and together, we carefully source cocoa beans from three continents: South and Central America, Africa and Asia. The majority of this high grade cocoa is grown by small subsistence farmers in some of the poorest countries in the world.
There are many benefits to investing in these specialist high grade couvertures, not least of which are the social ones. Most importantly it means the farmers can charge a premium for it, which in turn provides them a better living and helps contribute to a more sustainable industry.
